Also, a fan running at 100% will itself generate more heat than when it's running at 40%, after all it's just a lil electric motor when all's said and done

If such a cold plate existed, every computer would be fitted with one. No noise, no moving parts, no dust and dirt being sucked in - it'd be wonderfull! Using a TEC will actually increase the need for cooling performance, and so increase the possibility of noise. If you've got a CPU using 100 watts,...

Little Baby Balloon is awakened by a nasty nightmare, so he decides to get into bed with Daddy Balloon and Mummy Balloon. Alas! there isn't enough room in the bed for all three! Baby Balloon, being very clever, unties the knot in the top of Daddy Balloons head and releases some air, but there still ...

Raw meat. Love it. If I could find a safe place to buy fresh beef, I'd never bother cooking it. As for Wendy's, if I'm going to have a burger, that's where I go. I know for a fact that their meat hasn't been sitting in a freezer for six months. A large delivery/distribution company that my chain us...

Re: Chest Freezers and Overclocking

I've recently been through a lot of hassle with upgrading my processor and having problems from what I think was overheating. It is sorted out now though. But I was wondering, would buying a small chest freezer like the ones you get in some supermarkets ever be an alternative to water cooling? I th...
