Re: Average fuel consumption

The Forester usually averages 27/28 MPG in summer and 23/24 MPG in winter (snow tires & winter gas), but the recent 0F temps have me at about 20 MPG according to the dash widget. Instantaneous MPG only comes back up once the engine is fully warmed up (which takes quite some time).

Infrastructure (copper wire of suitable ampacity) ain't cheap. I'll guess that a single-plug connection for your truck is a thick 3 or 4 pin twist-lock.

This would be a big deal if I traveled for work like you do. Definitely understand your purchasing plan. If it pays for the car in 2-3 years and you can drive it for 5 or so, you're actually making money on the car (and that's even considering that some of the money is being poured back into it in ...

Yes, but the price is artificially being inflated through collusion - ie. PRICE FIXING. The "market" price then is FAKE (..just like it is for Diamonds and Inkjet Ink).

Have fun digging out the proof. This is far from the first go-round for the RAM makers.

The only issue I've had with it is that the panel makes a slight buzzing sound during large brightness transitions, similar to the noise CRTs used to make in the same situations (though it's only audible at low volumes). That's the sign of impending failure of the drive boards (with the back off, a...
