Re: Which Samsung should I get?

As an Original Galaxy Note owner on AT&T, I say Galaxy note II is what i would get. Having played with the GSIII extensively. The Battery life and new "Pentile Lite" display (rgB vs RGBG) on the GNII makes it a no brainer for me. Then again, with CM10 I'm quite happy with my Original G...

Yep! Exactly. You can burn to disc, create a bootable USB, or install on the computer that is running the upgrade assistant. Bootable USB is what i opted for.

Re: Ten years later: Where were you when you first heard?

I had just woken up. I had errands to run all day to get all my medical records in order for my move into the college dorms the next week... I remember watching it in the waiting room of the doctors office. I spent most of my day out and about trying to avoid hearing anything related to the attack.

My Core i7 2600k running at 4.55 GHz. Using Core Temp 0.99.8, my idle temp is 31c. This is done with a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ (Push+Pull Nexus Real Silent 120mm ) With Arctic cooling MX-4 . Load temp is up around 55c. Vcore at 1.4v. How you apply the Thermal Paste makes a huge difference. On my Co...

I recommend you wander down to your Local Office Depot/OfficeMax and sit in the chairs. You never know how well it will feel until you actually sit in them. Be sure you actually sit in them for more than just a few seconds. Then go from there.

Re: U2410 And Resolution

I Bought my U2410 a little over a year ago and have not regretted one minute of it. When it comes to Displays i'm a panel snob. Coming off a 2001FP (S-IPS) screen i had to get the U2410 (H-IPS) I skipped the intermediary generations of 24" Ultrasharps because of the PVA/MVA Panels because of th...

I'm running an MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) but i'm at 4.635Ghz (45x103) with my voltage at manual 1.35V. With max temps at 70-75. According to CoreTemp. I haven't experienced that at all. My computer has never been at stock. First boot was overclocked up to 4.2 with Auto on all voltages. Then after that installed Windows and then fine tuned my overclock. It's been 8 days since install and no issues. But I understand your concern. Didn't asus just pu...

Re: A few questions on Sandy Bridge build

If you're worried about the PSU . . . don't. I have a 2500K @4.71, 5850, Xfi XtremeMusic, a SSD, a 1.5 Green Power, 2.0 Green Power, and two 750 GB Caviar Blue's, 2 case fans and a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ all running off a Antec TruPower New 650. No hiccups. If you can't find the Asus board anywher...

Re: Do "hacked" printer drivers exist?

Both Brother and Samsung make decent cheap laser printers. Love my Brother HL-2140. On the "starter" toner I put through nearly 2 reams of paper, and I replaced the toner about 18 months ago and have put through probably 3 more reams of paper and it's still printing strong. Can't beat las...

Sampras! . . . Henin. As a backup to Henin, I liked Hingis. Back before "big babe tennis" she would work the opponent like a toy.

I definitely mourn the death of the one handed backhand in the modern game.

Re: X6 1090T BE from 940

Surpisingly your AM2+ board will not work, but I don't think that the upgrade would be worth it anyways. Two extra cores at probably the same speeds probably wont be beneficial unless you do things like media encoding/decoding. Gaming and general use won't see too much of an improvement.

Re: Solid freeze problems, AT WITS END!

If you're thinking the integrated sound is the culprit then you can simply disable it in your BIOS settings before buying a replacement sound card and then stress test the computer and see if you can recreate the problem.

There is only one PCIe 16x slot there isn't a second PCIe 8x or 16x. I've come to grips that there is no solution. I flashed to the latest bios as well hoping it was a...

Gigabyte MA770-UD3 Running 9800gtx+ at 8x

My video card is a 9800gtx+ and my mother board is a Gigabyte MA770-ud3. Under gpu-z and cpu-z it shows "PCI-E 2.0 x16 @ x8 2.0" there are no options in the bios to change that or affect it. All i can do is set the clock of the pci-e. Anybody run into this problem or know a fix to this?
