And there's the rub. Sub-5-inch screens are easier for me to handle. I'll just have to wait until Apple delivers iPhone SE X :)

The opinion of those using FaceID on a daily basis is appreciated by many, I think. It's new and enabling tech that seems to work, stuff that sites like TR are good at covering.

It’s my wife’s favorite, but I find Thai green curry beef more interesting, moreso than the Indian version that goes with naan. These things spoil easily. She also loves Laing with some chili in it. OTOH, I go for al dente pasta and tomato sauce laced with chopped bittergourd, vinaigrette, and heaps...

Re: Obsolete IT in the wild

I always chuckle when I go into a mechanic's shop or a small business and see a text-only screen (or even better yet, one wrapped by a VirtualBox window) and a tractor-feed invoice printer. You'll be surprised at the returns that old but viable control applications can deliver. Those that continue ...

Right now, it's the Apple of my eye. They were already geared up for a big update cycle, fortunately.

Star Trek Discovery, which has turned out be watchable, just. Deutschland 83 was great. Can't wait for the Man in The High Castle to return and retrieve for me that otherworld sense again.

HTTPS sites should still be safe. But bottom line is that you should not consider WPA2 WiFi networks to any more secure than an open public access point. Also worth pointing out that this is a client-side attack, i.e. WiFi APs/routers don't necessarily need to be patched as the vulnerability is on ...

I discovered that the configuring a corporate email account disabled the grace period, so that's not an iOS problem. High-end/Android/Big-screen/Tablet, pick any 3. You''ll probably have to compromise and get a smaller Note 8 for everything you want other than screen size (avoid the re-released 7 burner). That said, the cheaper iPhone 7 Plus offers similar performance and a far more evolved lifecycle as you mentio...

Super Tucanos lead in low and slow ground attack and surveillance. I've heard that when faster and heavier CAS planes like A-10s and Broncos are not possible and the distances are right, they do the job economically.

That's understandable, I tend to confuse them also as they did their most memorable work together. Such as the Motie series, which for me is the best alien contact storyline ever. Pournelle was the rare irreligious fellow who readily listened to reason and hardly condemned anyone outright.
