It isn't a workstation, but I bought this last month and have been happy with it. It meets all your spec requirements.

My microwave actually makes my entire houses wifi funky for the entire time its on, for example.

And again in 2007.

MS is about to die and fail and burn every 2-3 years it seems. Yet here we are.

Three cans of chefboyardee and a 18 pack of ice tea.

Ya'll act like youve never seen a cat 1 hurricane before. Where I live (southern VA) took a straight hit from a cat 3 a few years back and everything was back to normal within a week.

This storm will be old news by Tuesday.

Re: Will this build work? How well will it run guild wars 2?

Even as an AMD fanboy, I have to admit Intel builds are the way to go for now. Also, building an AM3 computer when AM3+ is out is probably not the bestest idea. However, if you are commite to this, one of my computers ran the GW2 beta on a X4 965 and a Geforce 460 1GB. I had my graphics options set ...

I vote for TrueCrypt as well. Works on Mac, Linux, and Windows, and is very flexible. I don't use it for full disk encryption, but rather make several virtual encrypted disks. It's a very powerful and flexible tool.

I gotta disagree with a lot posted here. I have a 1TB WD Black that I install all my programs/games on, and youd be super surprised how much never needs reinstalling. Even after fully changing my hardware, I've never had to reinstall steam or any of my steam games, even through 3 hardware changes. Y...

I have like 4 partially finished books chilling on my harddrive due to lack of faith in my writing ability, and this junk sells by the truckload? I've read tons of online erotica better than that nonsense.

Per AMD's website: "500W (or greater) power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended " Not to say it's guaranteed to not work on a 400 watt power supply, but I really wouldn't recommend it. http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7850/Pages/radeon-7850...

Just finished up reading Engadgets liveblog. This thing looks amazing. Definitely an Asus Transformer feel, but the keyboard addon is comparable to a tablet cover instead of an actual bulky add-on. If MS can price this thing well and get people to get over the "I hate MS cause its cool" th...

Re: my first credit card !!

Fastest way to build credit is to repeatedly get a high balance on your credit card and pay it all off. Doing this over the course of a year can skyrocket your credit card. My card has a $1000 limit that I try to get at least $700 on each month, before paying it off in full. Use your credit card for...

Re: Evil plant in my backyard

When I lived out in the country in Colorado, these were a pretty big problem down near our pond. They have an amazing ability to regrow; I would hack them down to the base with a hoe, then dig up the roots with a shovel, and they still often times found a way to regrow. You should eliminate them wit...

A breakthrough will come. It always does. I do believe the future lies not in voice, nor touch, nor gesture, nor neural, but in some combination thereof. I will say this: I believe that in 20 years, the idea that we actually had to hit a key for every single letter we wished to imput into a computer...

For now anyways. I see Windows 8/Kinect as Microsofts attempt to jump start touch/gesture based technology. Instead of the mindset of "once we have the technology, interfaces will follow", its "Once we have the interface, people will develop the technology." But really, the tech ...

Why in the free world are you paying $50 a month for a gym membership? Run around the block, do some pushes/situps at home, and pocket that $600 you are basically throwing away. Your car payment is also insane. For the kind of money you had best be driving something really nice. I'd also say life in...
