Back around 2005 I used to use Xoteck's RipCast. Pretty solid product but I think the company no longer exists, so you might not be able to buy a license. I think it could handle multiple shoutcast streams pretty easily, though. Had features to dump to separate files and auto-tag the MP3s.

If your friend REALLY wants to try Linux, but the primary purpose of this machine is for gaming, don't mess around with dual boot - just have them use a live CD/USB or do a persistent install in VirtualBox. A lot cleaner, especially if they end up deciding that Linux is not for them.

Just a DVD-RW, and only because it's a legacy part from my old machine. Hardly ever use it for anything other than burning boot discs.

Just bought a Schiit Modi less than a month ago to drive some Paradigm Mini Monitors... absolutely loving it so far. I didn't have incredibly high expectations for the thing, but it sure makes my speakers sing - and that is all that I care about. Great investment.

another question: when you used PNPutil, you had obviously already applied the image - were you booted into WinPE when you were installing new drivers into the driver store?

Based on where you were in the setup the installation of hardware was complete. The image purged all installed instances of the hardware, but that doesn't mean it purges the drivers themselves. That's a lovely machine. Looks almost identical to my much-loved dc5800 SFFs. I work from observations and my gut, as opposed to Ryu's extensive documentation, so please feel free to disregard my comments... Can you provide a little more detail about your situation? What is your imaging source and destination? Did you use sysprep (sounds like you did)? The models of the two PCs would be helpful as well. Is the source PC still intact? Sure. This is a brand new HP Compaq 6300 Pro small form factor system...

I CM7'd my Droid Incredible, and never looked back. It was leaps and bounds ahead of the stock HTC firmware in every aspect - and despite the quirks and steep learning curve, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone dissatisfied with their stock phone.
