XRGB mini

Anyone here used one of these? Seems like the best method to get a good picture from my old consoles, specifically genesis, on a modern TV.

One movie that comes to mind is Rocky Balboa. Some real tear jerking scenes in there..

Re: What are you doing to get better sleep RIGHT NOW?

I usually don't have issues falling asleep. On those nights where I've been pounding the caffeine for gaming grinds, I'll drink one of these (http://www.ichill.com/) to wind down. You can find em in 7-11. Be ready to crash hard in about 15-20 min, especially if you take the whole thing. I find half ...

Re: HDMI Audio won't work w/new 7850

It's entirely possible, for whatever reason, that the drivers are not ready to support the 7x00 series, or maybe specifically the 7800 series. I believe this to be the case. I just got a 7870, and the newest 12.2 on AMD's site doesn't support my card; I get no option to actually install the video d...

Re: Which SSD to get?

Kingston, Corsair, OCZ, Mushkin use Sanforce conrollers. The Sandforce BSOD bug was "fixed" in late October 2011. I haven't seen or heard much complaining since then. I own a Vertex 3 with the latest firmware fix and haven't had a problem, even when trying to persue the BSOD path. Most of...

Re: Games that make you RAGE

Battlefield **** 3. I usually end up smashing my fist on the desk in rage...and yet I can't stop playing. Tonight was especially crappy...I lost something like 5-6 matches in a row, was playing awful and then kept getting random disconnect errors from different servers. Still kinda pissed about it. :x

Re: nVidia 3d vision, it's pretty good

I invested in a 3D vision setup last xmas. While its kind of neat, I find myself rarely using it to be honest. In fact, the thing I'm happiest about most is the 120hz lcd I was forced to purchase..now thats a real upgrade :)

Re: Good sound without a discrete sound card

I use a pair of Logitech Z-560 THX certified speakers which still rock some 8 years later. They support analog, optical and digital coax connections. My sound card is a creative X-Fi platinum. Nice card, but the software is awful...sometimes it stops putting out sound and I have to switch between en...

As others have stated, the Gigabyte GTX 460 is amazingly quiet. The build quality of the card is outstanding as well.

SC2 bottleneck?

Hi all. I was just curious if anyone running a setup like mine is seeing similar performance. Current specs: Core2Quad 8300 @ 2.5GHz Mushkin PC2-6400 4Gb Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Mainboard Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB Windows 7 32bit Latest drivers of course. Nothing is overclocked (well, technically the vga card...
