Questions about a incident I had with my old Rig

It has been a while since I have posted here but here goes. So I am still running my 2600k on my P67-ud4 motherboard and my coolermaster 140xl pump took a dukie on me and the computer was sitting for a good 30hrs at 97c degrees so long that when I replaced the 140xl with a Corsair H100i GTX the nice...

Re: If you are getting Kaby Lake, go ahead & Delid it

Wonder if  you could solder A IHS on yourself with a little torch or bake it on with some very low temp solder filings and a preheated block of steel to sit on the IHS to make good contact and get a wee bit of overflow over the edges?

I use picture by picture on my 34" 3440-1440 panel when i watch tv " TV side has bars" and surf the web but it squeezes the PC screen down to fit so it looks a little funky, I don't know if you ran your game at 1720x1440 if it would look more natural or if it would even use half the s...

They are long overdue, I am just impatient that every manufacturer has and can make a good one for 2 years now but all we get is oversized cards and no love for the slim tower people that want to game but just cannot find a slim LP card that will do 1080p great :)

You have a ton of options, If you go with the separate speakers I highly recommend a center channel so when the voices are coming out of a face on the screen it is coming from right in front of you like it should, voices off to the side or in background will come out of the side speakers etc. The ch...

Re: I'm Bored: Let's Predict Zen's Performance.

Did not read all the posts, but I will not hold my breath for 40+% boost over existing, AMD products that fall under the same size/lineup, I voted 20-30% and I do hope I  am wrong, you can trust me on that since we need a better Intel competitor so we get more substantial performance upgrades. Still ...

I agree....they need to make movies, but unfortunately Disney paid a lot to have control and that is too bad. I am sure Bioware has to pay Disney to do anything with the Star Wars...that is a damned shame since I would prefer to watch this over Disney's "has to be kid friendly Movies" They...

If someone already said this my bad since i did not go through every post. But I do not think you need a peltier cooler at all unless you plan on keeping it on for very long periods of time...I imagine once the handle gets too hot to hold you will turn it off anyways:)

Re: Sapphire Radeon RX 470/460 Pictures Leak

For a card that will come nowhere close to saturating a PCI-e 3.0 slot @ 8x...plus with it only using 8 lanes to the CPU it could be useful to have the extra PCIE lanes for other AIB's like capture cards or storage solutions with PCI-E lane limited mainstream CPU's. I see no problem at all for a low...

If I had Blower GPUs in my SLI setup I would set up as positive pressure but with my current 2 EVGA classified 4gb 770's that throw out tons of heat into my case it is setup with more exhaust than intake fans. My 2 side 120mms are setup as exhaust and the amount of heat expelled from the side of the...
