Have you looked at Fords Fusion hybrid or escape hybrid. Well it might not have the performance of a camaro the fusion gets 41mpg city which would really help with the price at the pump.
How about a used Pontiac G6 GXP? Or for a new car a Dodge avenger, not the best car but it’s peppy and gets decent mileage and is under $20k. I would personally go for the Camaro though.
