Re: Discuss TR's screenshot contest

Yeah I know I only have a few posts on this site, and call me a whistle blower, but some of SUSHRUKH's pics are not real screenshots, and more than likely not his work at all.I know some of the shots are spoofs, jokes, or clearly marked as photo shopped but this one might have alterior motives. So,...

Would love to upgrade my GTX 260! :D Even on low (gamer) setting Crysis 2 Multiplayer looks pretty good! http://i56.tinypic.com/28soax2.jpg http://tinypic.com/r/11188y9/7 http://i52.tinypic.com/2n67tbs.jpg http://tinypic.com/r/rhmukn/7 LUCKYeyeAMnot  http://i56.tinypic.com/152m1vq.jpg http://t...

Re: Considering getting first real credit card

Instead do this to build credit: Set up a SAVINGS ACCOUNT (anyone hear of these?!?!?) Preferably one that earns a little interest. Consider this your credit card in a sense. This was my mistake: I used the credit card like I was supposed to use a savings account. I didn't bother saving since I was ...

Re: Considering getting first real credit card

(... and the rest lay lots of traps for you to run up charges). Cash-back bonuses are a drop in the bucket compared to credit card charges. You have to be extremely disciplined to play that game and win. I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm just saying the most sophisticated, most deeply funded mar...

Re: Considering getting first real credit card

You shouldn't be afraid to open/have/use a credit card as long as you know how to be responsible and manage your spending. I highly recommend managing your account online though and not relying on the USPS to get you your statement and making your payments. I've been working in credit card customer ...

Re: Age of Conan

Once you reach lvl 20+ and leave n00b island (Tortage) I really think you'll like it even more. The world of Hyboria and it's regions are even better! The game has real potential IMO, and of course, you'll always hear more about the negative than the positive!

Re: Age of Conan

To OP: If you're not sure if you want to play the game and want real feedback on the game, I suggest waiting for some official reviews and not basing your decision on the people who have been playing only since launch (2 days ago, 5 days if you count early access) and/or beta.

Re: Age of Conan

AoC....all I can say is you better play a caster and not melee. I'm sorry, but what the hell are you talking about... Melee classes in AoC are VERY powerful! Are you kidding me? What the hell are you talking about!? Apparently you fail at MMO's. With the collision system that AOC has employed it is...

Also would like to note:
The game does have some bugs/issues with it (which is to be expected in a new release), but more importantly to me, it does NOT crash.

Re: Age of Conan

30gb install is NOT my idea of a good time. My good friend purchased it. He said he is having fun with it, but there are definitely issues abound. I think a lot of the new games, or at least MMO's, will take up lots of space. I've been playing since May 17 in Early Access. You can see my system spe...

Re: D3SL question

Just ordered mine. I have extra spare USB ports, which I really do not need along with all my cables. I think for half the price open box is worth it without the cables and whatnot. I don't mind if the cables are missing. I would just be worried that someone returned their board to newegg because t...

Re: D3SL question

Guess you guys can't read those newegg reviews huh??? It clearly says you CAN adjust the voltage BUT the problem is that the bios will NOT remember it after the system has been off for an extended period of time. I have 2 of these boards and the problem is the same for each one, clear the cmos then...

Which upgrade first? Mobo/CPU/Mem vs. GPU

I hope this is the right place to post this question... Well, I thought I was going to be able to upgrade my Mobo/CPU/Memory/Video Card all at once, but I have to break it up into 2 parts. I would like some thoughts on which I should do first. You can see my current rig in my Sig. I'm mainly upgradi...

Which AGP Card?? $50-$60

I gave some of my old computer parts to my uncle, and he needs an AGP video card. He's not a heavy gamer.. mostly plays Diablo2 and will possibly play WoW. He would like to only spend around $50-$60 on a video card. I found 2 cards that I think will fit his needs/budget: GeForce 6200 512mb GDDR2 vs ...

Re: Help me pick a Logitech mouse

I'll second the MX518 recommendation! Very responsive, fits my hand nicely, and has plenty of buttons (moreso than the G5 I think). They're almost the same except that the g5 has a laser sensor (which you can adjust on the fly), tilt wheel, and weight tuning. IMO the g5 is better for $10 more. The ...

Re: Help me pick a Logitech mouse

Tough choice, but I vote for the G7 since it comes with 2 battery packs, which would be better for gaming when/if you do decide to play em, as you would just pop in the charged battery pack without having to stop your gaming session (nice for MMORPG's, especially if you're in the middle of a dungeon...

Re: Which LCD? Samsung vs Dell 22"

I think I've found the right monitor for me :D
Gateway HD2200... it has HDMI, HDCP and only $350. I also use my monitor for my XBOX 360, so the HDMI is a plus. I did read the color performance is only mediocre, but I can't expect "top of the line" for this low price.
