The ship looks like a joint endeavor between the Federation and the Klingons. I know it was mentioned that it shared design points with an earlier ship that was never released, but I'm hoping for some kind of Federation/Klingon show. Those kind of dynamics would make for great storylines. I also hop...
Okay, I found KB3035583, but when I right click on it the only options are view details and copy details. It says it installed successfully but there is nothing about uninstalling it. I do have the Window Bt folder as well. Im running windows 8.1. Can I just delete the Windows Bt folder and be done ...
So I opened up my laptop this morning and I see this waiting for me. http://www.extremetech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Win10.jpg There is no option to stop the installation, just to put it off. I have since switched my automatic update options to to let me choose when to install, but I think it'...
Just finished Jessica Jones and 1st season of Vikings. Took me a while to get into Vikings, but Jessica Jones was awesome. Currently watching 1st season of Ray Donovan and The Last Ship. Watching all of the DC shows as well. There really is too much TV to watch, and its hard to get around to all of ...
There are a couple people here giving you advice on what you should do. Instead of accepting their help you seem to be making excuses to put the blame on nVidia when you haven't tried everything. Why not take Captain Ned's advice and nuke it.
Best Buy has the Sandisk SSD Plus 240gb on sale for $74.99 right now. I know it's not their high end line, but that seems like a steal. They also have the 120 variant for $49.99
Edit: They have the Ultra II series 240gb for $85.99.
Im using mint 17.1. I used pendrive linux to make a bootable image, then i went back into the usb and tried to copy some movies over and it told me there wasn't enough room. I'll try to partition the drive.
I'm trying to make a bootable usb with Linux. I can make the key fine, but it makes the rest of the usb non writeable. I'm using a 128gb usb stick and I want to put movies on there as well. Is this possible to do? This is my first time using linux and making a bootable drive.
What type of RPG are you looking to play? I really enjoyed playing the Mass Effect trilogy. The stories are great (even the last one, to me). Not a lot of micromanaging stat wise, and there is a decent amount of weapons and armor if you like to customize. I actually found myself getting into the cut...
I already suggested building two different boxes, but his budget won't allow it. Would a NAS box be a good alternative? I don't do any video capture so I feel out of my depth.
My neighbor wants to build a HTPC which will also do double duty as his Security System, with at least 6 cameras hooked up to it. I was wondering if the IGP's in AMD and Intel would be ok or would he need a discrete card?
Seems like most of his answers are meant to throw a lot of "techno babble" at the uneducated. I especially like that part about the SSD read/write and the drop in compatibility for the Titan. :o Edit: Reading the rest of his description is quite fun: "1.5GB of Video RAM, perfect for L...
Well, back to no wifi again. Now it won't even connect to the 5Ghz band. It connects to the 2.4 only. If I tap to connect to the 5 nothing happens. I'm really annoyed now. It seems every fix has been a stop gap. I guess I should stop denying that the router might be dying, which sucks because it's b...
So the Beacon Interval change seems to have fixed the problem. I lowered both bands and now everything is working like normal. I hope this is a permanent fix. That Uber
The wifi analyzer shows no other routers on my channel (9-14). The signal strength is strong, I can be a foot from the router and get no connection. Both phones have dual bannd antennas and support all wifi standards. I did a soft reset of the router this morning and that worked for all of 4 hours. ...
I have a Trendnet TEW-812 DRU router. I've been experiencing problems with my mobile devices for a while now. I have three cell phones and two tablets that cannot use wifi even though they are connected. It keeps saying "wifi connection unstable." I have two laptops that work fine as well ...
Well that didn't work long. Back to the same problem. I really stumped on this one. I guess my router could be going out. It seems weird that it only affects the phones and tablet. All the other wifi enabled devices work perfectly fine. Im watching netflix on my tv as I type this.
Well damn JBI, I guess I should have checked the firmware . Don't know if it was the culprit or not, but I upgraded the firmware and now everything seems to be working. Finger's crossed
Would a channel conflict only effect those devices and not interfere with the other wifi enabled electronics? I'm going to try either way, but I'm a bit of a luddite in this area.
