aw...i dunno how i forgot that one...those games have online servers. so it means im **** up...my internet connection has been capped to 100KB/s. but it can reach more using an in-host-proxy program capable of masquerading packets coming/leaving my PC. the thing is that i was using ultrasurf, but no...

setting a small LAN PARTy

Hey guys. I always wanted to play on a LAN Party...so my friends and I want to setup a LAN to play games, like MW3, BF3... So here are the requirements I need: one switcher with enough ports for the PC's on the network so, what I want is you to help me with another configurations, what do I have to ...

Re: LCD or LED

I find LED with IPS panel very good when playing with contrast. I had a LG w2243s LCD 2 years ago and now im owning a SAMSUNG SA350 LED. It seems that black to grey is more uniform (i mean the contrast) and also very low temps help a lot because i dont turn my monitor off (if i do its just for an ho...

Re: HD7970 NDA lifted: Reviews go live

I hvnt seen the reviews yet, and also when I came to this topic I just scrolled down to the end of the thread. Just to say, AMD is awesome, they managed to launch this right on Christmas for most folks this is the best gift. It kinda makes sense, Christmas theme is Red and something, and it matches ...

If u really hv limited budget go for the 2-core,
nothing against the i5, its great, but if u r going to upgrade next year,
u might well get an i5 or better processor for cheap. dunno

Really? Because I've got an HD 6950 and "there's something wrong".

Ultra settings definitely is not things for kids brow.

If you want it to run smoothly, u have to put all settings to high or dial with some settings, mixing ultra & high.

Re: Is setting all fans to max bad for fans/PC?

I think that there's no problem running fans @ max. As long as they are from a good quality, they will do the job for years. I remember the times I had my P4, and all the fans in my case were 80mm, that means that they had to run as fast as they could to keep good airflow. Now with cases supporting ...

Re: Radeon 7000 specs

The last leeks about Radeon 7xxx series are pretty amazing, seems like AMD want to do a wash on their GPU's on the top dogs of the line up. and for what I saw, seems like the 69xx will get a serious refresh, TDP cut to half or something like and clocks upped 50MHz and more OC headroom. And of course...

This is just for the records of MEGAHERTZ speed. because i'm pretty sure in real life they cant even surpass a Sandy bridge clocked 6GHz. AMD has lost its elegance!

That really sounds fine to me, where did you get the idea that it isn't? What temp are you shooting for, and if mid - high thirties aren't pleasing you have you considered water cooling? I went back to the store that sold me the Coolermaster V6 GT, they gave me a new one, so now the screw with a tr...

Re: Core i5 2500K idling temps too high

I don't know why you guys are worrying, those temps are perfectly fine. Idle temps are rarely something to worry about unless something is drastically wrong (like 60C at idle). What are your load temps? That is the most important thing. I would use hwmonitor for temps and either Intel Burn Test or ...

totally agree bro. And you dont even have to have a massive cooler to OC d E8400.
getting it to work @3,6GHz is free. just make sure dat when u chande d FSB to 400Mhz,
check d RAM frequency, choosing d respective multiplier to achieve its nominal frequency.

Today using mATX board is not what used to be. mATX share d same chipset with ATX sibblings. So ur rear ports will be same. Dimm slots, check. U can put in a smaller case. Even sli or cf there are some able to.
