aw...i dunno how i forgot that one...those games have online servers. so it means im **** up...my internet connection has been capped to 100KB/s. but it can reach more using an in-host-proxy program capable of masquerading packets coming/leaving my PC. the thing is that i was using ultrasurf, but no...
Hey guys. I always wanted to play on a LAN Party...so my friends and I want to setup a LAN to play games, like MW3, BF3... So here are the requirements I need: one switcher with enough ports for the PC's on the network so, what I want is you to help me with another configurations, what do I have to ...
I find LED with IPS panel very good when playing with contrast. I had a LG w2243s LCD 2 years ago and now im owning a SAMSUNG SA350 LED. It seems that black to grey is more uniform (i mean the contrast) and also very low temps help a lot because i dont turn my monitor off (if i do its just for an ho...
I hvnt seen the reviews yet, and also when I came to this topic I just scrolled down to the end of the thread. Just to say, AMD is awesome, they managed to launch this right on Christmas for most folks this is the best gift. It kinda makes sense, Christmas theme is Red and something, and it matches ...
If u really hv limited budget go for the 2-core, nothing against the i5, its great, but if u r going to upgrade next year, u might well get an i5 or better processor for cheap. dunno
I think that there's no problem running fans @ max. As long as they are from a good quality, they will do the job for years. I remember the times I had my P4, and all the fans in my case were 80mm, that means that they had to run as fast as they could to keep good airflow. Now with cases supporting ...
i just saw that now, on the telegraph link you provided, thank you BTW, and this means a lot for human beings. Even for those who dont understand. We all end up being affected. This is rewriting of science, and so exciting it is
The last leeks about Radeon 7xxx series are pretty amazing, seems like AMD want to do a wash on their GPU's on the top dogs of the line up. and for what I saw, seems like the 69xx will get a serious refresh, TDP cut to half or something like and clocks upped 50MHz and more OC headroom. And of course...
This is just for the records of MEGAHERTZ speed. because i'm pretty sure in real life they cant even surpass a Sandy bridge clocked 6GHz. AMD has lost its elegance!
That really sounds fine to me, where did you get the idea that it isn't? What temp are you shooting for, and if mid - high thirties aren't pleasing you have you considered water cooling? I went back to the store that sold me the Coolermaster V6 GT, they gave me a new one, so now the screw with a tr...
yeah, what im seeing is that I have to improve my case airflow in order to get good system temperature, mines are 38~39 degrees. There's a lot of improvements i still have to do.
I don't know why you guys are worrying, those temps are perfectly fine. Idle temps are rarely something to worry about unless something is drastically wrong (like 60C at idle). What are your load temps? That is the most important thing. I would use hwmonitor for temps and either Intel Burn Test or ...

What app do you guys use to measure all these CPU temp's? I don't think that's in CPUID's CPU-Z is it? I use d MSI Control Center, I dont know whether it is accurate, because AIDA64 says another thing, like 2 degrees less than what MSI CC reports. and even, when i touch d heatsink, it feels very ve...

I found that its not seated well, because one of the screws for retaining the heatsink is not good. Tomorow im going to the store to get new screws, and see if I can solve it. I mounted it on my own, this is my 5th PC, and i never had such probs. I put the thermal paste on the center of the CPU meta...
I took off my CPU cooler, and did a visual inspection on the part, and guess that I saw a little problem with one of the two screws for retaining the Heatsink. I will return it to the store to get a new one on Wednesday and make the tests again. Maybe the contact between d heatsink and the CPU metal...
Hi guys. I bought my PC last week. After installing all d software i need, time to burn in, and during my tests I saw that my CPU temp was 41c idle. My MSI Control Center reports that the system temperature is 36c, My CPU cooler is d Coolermaster V6 GT and the case is a Coolermaster Elite 430 Black,...
yeah. I'm having d same problem with d p67a-gd55. Because d CPU area is totally cool with d cooler i hv. I touched with my fingers. but it reports 39ºC. The BIOS is d first one yet, i will update to d last one 2 see what happens. I'm pretty sure the readings are wrong.
totally agree bro. And you dont even have to have a massive cooler to OC d E8400. getting it to work @3,6GHz is free. just make sure dat when u chande d FSB to 400Mhz, check d RAM frequency, choosing d respective multiplier to achieve its nominal frequency.
I calculated mine as roughly 430watt under full load. Core i5 2500K + Radeon HD 6950, P67 mobo, 1TB HD, 2*RAM and optical drive. 150watt for d CPU 225watt for d GPU 15watt for d mobo plus 30watt for some other small things but yeah, I was just estimating for OC sake. My PSU is a Xigmatek NRP-PC502 5...
I posted that mines was d Pentium dual core E2160, but I just bought I new rig, last saturday. I definitively believe that my new Core i5 2500K will overwrite that great memories dat I have. lol
My PSU has been mounted on the bottom. I turned mine towards d motherboard, The Specs sticker has been hidden, but I dont care. I'll put my signature on the side that is being exposed.
Today using mATX board is not what used to be. mATX share d same chipset with ATX sibblings. So ur rear ports will be same. Dimm slots, check. U can put in a smaller case. Even sli or cf there are some able to.
