Just an update. I went ahead and did a format of my main HDD again. Everything is working perfect now. All this makes me glad that I keep my files on another HDD so when I have to format my Windows install it's no big deal.
I will try unplugging it and putting it back in. If I can't fix it I may just reinstall everything again since I am not that far into loading all my programs.
I don't think so because I noticed it even before I had all the patches installed. I am fairly sure it got hung up right after Sp2 (which I have on a CD) and kept doing it. I have never seen this happen before.
