This is the primary reason I would invest in a good UPS in this situation, although all the preceding comments are also quite valid.
If you make use of the ram caching feature from the EVO range and the power goes, anything in ram is susceptible to loss.

The Acer is using integrated graphics, while the Levono has an Nvidia card. From rendering and editing alone the Levono is miles ahead not to mention a necessity for gaming. Might be a long shot but make sure there is nothing making contact from the motherboard to the case aside from the normal motherboard grounding points. It could be the PSU's protection circuitry kicking in to prevent damage to the motherboard if anything is shorting out.

With regards to the 3770, will the presence of active VT-d /vPro/TXT silicon in addition to the slightly lower stock clock speed significantly lower the overclocking headroom ?
