Subjectively I'd say Cherry blue switches are about as loud as buckling springs, but the noise is a bit higher pitched (more of a "tick" than a "clack"). Like buckling spring, they can be quite loud if you bottom out the keys hard when you type. I have a RK-9000 with blue switch...
