Re: Remember when.......(decade in review)

Re: Space Thread

Actually, Wernher von Braun proposed it more than a decade before in 1955 while explaining what the first manned moon mission might look like.

Re: Please share your real supernatural stories

Thagarr, what you have described is consistent with the behavior of a Jinn. I don't believe in Jinn either, but thanks for your interpretation. I've let the magic smoke out of a few computer components over the years. Does that count as supernatural? Sounds perfectly natural to me. They wouldn't pu...

Re: Please share your real supernatural stories

Back when I was 21, I had a job working at a convenience store. It was a newly built store that had only been around a couple of years when I started working there. I just happened to work with a lot of people I liked, some were my friends before I started there. We all pretty much had a good time, ...

Re: Stumbled on a new project this weekend.

I actually have a busted Ms Pac bootleg on the way. Someone on KLOV was replacing it with a stock board and let it go cheap. Couldn't resist. :D Thanks for reminding me about KLOV, I hadn't bee there in years and lost bookmark! Several years ago I was trying to find a working Oscar game cabinet. Tu...

Re: Stumbled on a new project this weekend.

Great job rescuing that second PCB!

This thread is one of two things keeping me coming back to the TR forums. While I haven't exactly been an active member, I have been reading TR and these forums for almost 2 decades, old habits die hard.

Re: Stumbled on a new project this weekend.

Nice rummage sale find right there, I have been watching this thread since your first post, glad to see you got it working! Emulators are a lot of fun, but there is just no substitute for a stand-up arcade cabinet! Galaga was probably my favorite, but also loved Donkey Kong, Joust, Zaxxon and Spy Hu...
