Re: Games for girls

Looking to buy my daughter a couple of games for Christmas. The vast majority of games are very boyish. Any suggestions for games for a 7yr old girl with an Xbox 360 without Kinnect, and a Nintendo DSi XL. Thanks all. What did you end up getting? I know my kids enjoy these xbox games: the Lego game...

Re: TR Xbox Live Gamertag Exchange! TR Gamers Unite!

Since Perfect revived this thread I will post my gamer tag as well.

My gamer tag: Sassy Susan86

Mr Susan or my husband's tag: scotsmanJ

I think my husband would really enjoy the group here and he plays more xbox that I do. I'm usually on the PC playing GW2.

Re: BlackBerry 10 thoughts?

Not sure if they can save the company, but I admire them for trying. A year ago I owned a BlackBerry Storm and loved it....until I needed to access the internet from it while out in the field. When I first bought the storm, searching for additional properties while showing clients houses wasn't real...

Re: Guild Wars 2

Sadly I havent logged in to GW for almost a month now. Work has been hellish recently. I've missed the holloween and this past weekends events. :-? And now I see that Henge is taking a beating. I really must find a good guild somewhere. Ditto. Pains me greatly, but the work move is completely done,...

Re: Guild Wars 2

GRRR Frack WvW in this game. Until Anet shuts down the ability to hop servers daily WvW is broken. Henge has been leading since release and now we have seen a huge departure of guilds to JQ and probably others servers too. Terrible foresight on Anet's part. >.< I guess I'll go play XCom now or even...

Re: To iPad or not to iPad

I still haven't purchased an iPad or Android based tablet. I was really thinking about the new Samsung Note tablet...then I finally got to hold it in my hand and its just plastic. Not sure about how that will hold up to my clumsy hands at time. I did find out that the PX (Post Exchange) here has iPa...

Re: Blackberry and Android OS

I had a BB Storm and loved it...until I needed to have the flexibility to get to things online. Oh my geez....that was like waiting for a Slow boat to any place! I think in the future the availability of apps will ultimately make or break BB. Everyone in my industry basically laughs at people still ...

Re: To iPad or not to iPad

iPad. You only live once, enjoy it. Well... The iPad will pay for itself because 1) it has the app you NEED 2) the quality of Android and Android apps in general is noticeably worse 3) customers respect class and quality 4) self-respect = self-improvement Most realtors I've seen try to upsell custo...

Re: To iPad or not to iPad

OK you're considering a Transformer Infinity, but the iPad 2 is "pricey"? Anyway, I'd go Asus hands down. Doubly so if you already have Android apps since the Play store allows installing on all your devices. I think the iPad is pricey for what you get...especially if I considered getting...

To iPad or not to iPad

I am looking at getting a tablet very soon and need some guidance. I will use this for my real estate business: listing presentation, search for property, check email, post or repost ads on craigslist and such. I am sure it will get some "entertainment" type uses as well. I don't need it t...

Re: Guild Wars 2 Beta!!!

Big cheers for ArenaNet's re-thinking of the Mesmer class. It's a nifty combination of medium-range illusion and close-up swordplay. For solo exploring, I seemed to be most effective with rapier in one hand and pistol in the other. I found the Guardian to be quite durable/resilient. Even though GW2...

Re: Router Replacement

Thanks for the responses! Believe it or not I had coverage on the top floor with about 2 to 3 bars of signal strength with the D-Link Xtreme N Gigabit Router that we were using. When we built the house I should have had it networked but didn't think about it. I think the best place for the router is...

Router Replacement

My D-Link router is on its last leg and I am looking for a recommendation of a powerful router that will reach all the way from the basement to our 2nd floor since we have a lot of wifi devices. Our house is about 3800 sq ft and we are a family of gamers: 2 xbox 360's, ps3, PC games (GW2), 2 desk to...

Re: HP pavilion dv6700 cd drive not working

Thanks Jae! I'll check that next...even when I can insert a cd the drive does nothing. It's like there is no disc in the tray. I have a feeling it's toast and I'll have to replace it....might be a good time to install more RAM as well.

HP pavilion dv6700 cd drive not working

Hello everyone! I'm one of the "GW" players from CBE and JAE always suggests I post questions over here....so here is the situation: I have an HP Pavilion. The E drive for CD and DVD suddenly quit working. I can't find it on the computer drive list and when I click on a game program with a...
