Re: Dragmor’s International Giveaway - Now with more gifts.

I haven't yet had reason to try this particular trick, but try copying the game's folder out of the Steam folder and then putting in a symlink to the new location? Steam seems pretty resilient to moving directories and changing locations and stuff; I'd be fairly surprised if this didn't work. This ...

Re: Dragmor’s International Giveaway - Now with more gifts.

Hi guys. Sorry about the delay in posting my thoughts regarding this drive. I have been enjoying the holiday season and heading to the beach a lot! To start with, thanks to dragmor for providing the prize, it's awesome. My system is a Q6600 cpu at stock settings (2.4GHz). 4GB RAM, HIS Radeon 4850. G...

Re: NetBIOS Name Resolution

If it's just 1 client can you manually add an entry to the hosts file? /etc/hosts I believe. this will match the hostname to IP address and you should be sweet. There could also be a different file that you do this to, but I can't remember what it is at the moment.

Re: Server/Domain-Controller Swap Help (Windows Server 2003 R2)

Some ideas just off the top of my head. Do clients access the server via the IP address or hostname? Is it just for fileshares and printers? in DHCP options add a DNS entry for secondary server so that these will roll out to clients. That way when A goes offline, B will still get DNS queries. create...

PS3 region question

Hey guys. Quick question - if I buy a PS3 from the US will it be able to play Australian games and blue ray movies?

About $200 cheaper to import it rather than buy it locally with the dollar the way it is.

I actually love to cook too. I grill a lot because of my wife's high cholesterol, so i may look into improving my skills there! The wife will get irritated that i'm cooking so much, but at least i'll be occupied. Yep. And seriously, even though when you eat the food it can be all gone in 5 minutes,...

Cooking is fun... find out what you like whether it is a certain style (chinese, thai, indian etc) and get good at one style, then try another one. Wok cook...

I don't have a real solid math background, it is not so much that I didn't understand, but more that I didn't apply myself. But now I think I could pick it up as I'm much more interested than I was 10 years ago. No real physics background either. Kind of why I thought an online course would be good ...

Any online physics courses/selfpaced training stuff?

Hey guys. Just wondering if anone can recommend some self-paced courses in physics, in particular I'm interested in physics with regard to space, gravity etc. I'm just keen to get some basic understanding going, so anything you can throw at me will be appreciated.

I don't see why it should be a problem. It's a .msi file so you can assign or publish it via group policy. Using group policy management console you can do all that, PM me if you need directions.
