Re: Iimit voltage and keep "Cool and Quit" ? 1950X

Can you explain why that voltage bothers you? If the manufacturer deemed it to be safe, why care?
Those values are really irrelevant since CPU changes voltages so fast and so often, whereas the value readout is done each second.

Re: Which cpu to get?

Why wait for reviews where there are already? I can assure you (since I am Romanian) that lab501 guys are professional, and actually they are very well regarded on the OC community. Re: How long before your last build started to fail?

I see that the general trend is of builds don't usually fail at all. I also doubt the fact that OP has a USB3 controller chip failure, but instead a driver compatibility issue. In general, reliability of PC components is pretty good nowadays with more issues happening exactly after the component is ...

Re: Looks like RyZen got caught cheating on benchmarks

This is not cheating, it is optimization. Since the OoO window is very big inside the CPU, you can check for redundant paths and just skip them. So really, the only fault here is on the guys that wrote the benchmark, because they created a scenario which can be optimized by a CPU and doesn't really ...

Re: DX12 seems to be broken with Ryzen especially when using GeForce

Two FPS difference means broken? How many million FPS do you need to stop crying about gaming performance of Zen, DX12 or any GPU? From what I can see, most of the games tested run at over 100FPS with max settings and the difference between DX12/11 and 7700K/1800X is negligible. I think this non-iss...
