Ive done this with the poor mans install of Knoppix. You need to be careful if you standard installs because of possible constant writing to the CF (logs and such)

I had a 93 lumina I had to relearn the idle with. Just like jss21382 said, the unit probably has to run up to normal operating temperature after the main power to the ECM has been cut (usually via fuse) for about 10 - 15 minutes just to be safe.

If you're going protest Foxconn be sure to look at all the components on your other electronics because there is a good chance Foxconn has some component in there.

Hawkwing74, NAESX looks like a decent fund, with good returns. I might take a look at that one to add to my fund in my IRA. There are so many funds, I find have to limit what I look at. . Anyway, to get back to my original question, does anybody know at what point 12b1 fees become a burden on funds...

dslegend, Hawkwing74 Those are good funds, and I don't disagree about investing in a S & P Index fund. But I looked at the 3 and 5 year average return on VFINX and it is 4.18% and 3.84%, while the 3 and 5 year average return on MXXIX is 11.27% and 14.6%. The only thing holding me back are the 1...

I'm extremely happy with VIMSX, VFINX and MUHLX Just remember, don't buy any fund with: 12b1 Fees Front End Sales Loads Deferred Sales Loads They just don't seem worth it. Also, look heavily at dividends payed out and capital gains. Your MXXIX didn't pay out a dividend last year, I would see why.

Re: 6' vs. 15' USB cable

The 1st thing that got my attention was the line in the instructions which read "Do not use a USB interface cable that is longer than 6 feet". I ordered a 15' USB cable and it seems to be doing fine. Am I missing anything by using the longer cables? Why would you buy a nice printer without built-in...

If you wish to have multiple user viewing your webpage, and you do not want to spend a lot of money to do it, you will not get to use a microsoft solution. Microsoft SQL alone will not allow that if you want many connections. You can run a WAMP saolution, and focus on the page development at no cost...

I haven't setup up a LAMP server in about 3 years. It would have been a lot less time consuming if I had known/or that link existed. It seems pretty slick.

The buzzword is "LAMP" http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/onlamp/2001/01/25/lamp.html What do you plan to do? Nothing is free with ASP.NET, not especially with Microsoft SQL with connections. There are already "LAMP" solutions that come with standard distrubutions basically allowing the user to pretty much...

natively, Win9x doesn't know about NTFS. There were 3rd party drivers as previously mentioned but I don't know if they worked seemlesly. You sound like you want Win9x and Win2k to share the same partitions. If this is the case, you need to make the NTFS partitions Fat32, not the other way around.

There are USB to IrDA products. You are right, the IrDA uses a RS232 interface except I don't know what signals are implimented besides the TX and RX.

Maybe you already checked something like this out:
