Re: The Mandalorian

I'm ok with it at this point. I am sure we will see Pedro's face at some point, the trailers even allude to it. Maybe its part of the story maybe it isn't I just am not distracted by it. :P BTW there were two episodes last week. One on Tuesday and one on Friday. ;) They are being released on Friday'...

Re: The Mandalorian

Both were enjoyable. And both are non-cannon now, relegated as Legends. However of the two, Wraith Squadron, might be showing its head sooner than later or at least some elements from it.

Re: Something's different...

Yeah. It's not horrendously out of place for what we do (did), but randomly a bit too far into the pro audio realm. If they're looking to move in that direction, something like the 6 best USB recording interfaces for music and/or youtube might have been closer to the mark, or maybe something about ...

Re: The Mandalorian

Doesn't anyone have an issue with Fett's voice? Should be deeper, more menacing. That's not Fett! Anyways Jango and Boba wern't true Mandalorians. The former was the model of all clone troopers the later was an unaltered clone. Reading is fundamental. This guy is a Mandalorian from Mand'alor. We ha...

The Mandalorian

Yup I woke up an hour early before work to watch the first Episode on Disney+.

WHOA! If this is what Star Wars is like without Lucas, I like it!

NINJA EDIT: It definitely has that Dave Filoni story telling vibe. And if yo watched Clone Wars and Rebels you know what I'm talking about.

Re: What are you playing right now?

I actually wouldn't call the Epic store trash. I used it for a few games now and it does work as a generic launcher if publishers let it. The problem arises when publishers force their own launchers to launch a game. Then you have the scenario of a launcher launching another launcher to launch a gam...

Re: What are you playing right now?

Rockstar's own launcher and how it hands off to Epic's launcher. So what gave me the idea was that there is an old mod for GTA4 that essentially bypasses the Rockstar Launcher to launch the game, people were saying it works for RDR2 too. I essentially did that with my custom system.xml without using...

Re: Something's different...

Out of curiosity, what's the going rate for a written CPU/GPU review? As someone still writing them professionally and enjoying the hell out of it, I'll say it's somewhere between nunya and bidness. LOL. Because I realize the time and effort to write these things I'm also curious. Not like I would ...

Re: What are you playing right now?

SUCCCESS! I built my own custom system.xml and got RDR2 running. Running beautifully at 2560 x 1440 at ~75 fps on a 1080. It dips at times to 60 but doable. but there still are bugs, like the hand cursor will not go away and others. but its running. Still no hard solutions from Rockstar. They issued...

Uggg... It isn't a Microsoft issue and its been a long time since Microsoft was an issue. So stop with that nonsense. This is a Rockstar issue and their half-assed implementation.

Re: Blizzcon 2019 (Games Discussion)

Sure they could have written it into Lore but it would be really weird at this point. The current races ARE ethnic.

As for a system limitation, yeah I can accept that. The WOW engine is old. But its far from oversight.

I would LOVE to be playing Red Dead Redemption II on PC but no can do. TWO whole days and trying every trick posted on Rockstars' support and forum pages and even going to Reddit, I cannot get the damn thing to run. And yes my PC exceeds the minimum specs.

The OG Clone Wars movie and series in 2003-2005 was all Lucasearts and aired on Cartoon Network. Even George had a hand in it. The 2006-2013 series was a joint project that led to the rise to Dave Filoni.

Oh an I forgot......Obi-Wan! Yes that one. It was announced at D23 that McGregor will be reprising this role and having his own show. While no exact details have been released as a fan I always felt that Kenobi's > (whiney) Skywalker's.

They'll never completely recoup the cost of acquisition. I'm not to sure about that. Personally I am giddy about the Mandalorian. And the fact that they are resurrecting Clone Wars to give it a proper ending excites the hell out of me. If they ever make a live action Ahsoka show or hell even an ani...

A sizeable number of PC enthusiast have already given up chasing the constant upgrading wheel. The returns aren't what they are used to be unless you use your system for real-world work. I cant argue with that. I remember a time when I upgraded something every six months and tried for full builds e...
