Re: Air filtered through water

Ever see the commission structure of selling a timeshare? It can go from the okay base 6% to the Obnoxious to 46% after accelerators are added to your commission structures. An oh BTW they are almost certainly pyramid schemes, think Mary-Kay, Avon, or the like.

Re: Do you use the Windows "Documents" folder?

Ned, you should spend the 2 easy minutes that it takes to relocate the libraries that you want. You can choose which libraries go on which drive and in which directory and Windows will move the files for you. it doesn't always behave and some programs will ignore the different locations. For the ob...

All checks expire eventually. If an expiration timeframe is not explicitly stated on the check, 180 days is typical.

The Necro is really OP. I am afraid there is a nurf stick in its future. (Though quietly, I hope not) Because of the long weekend I was able to put in some time on the Necro. After dinging 70 it became apparent that I was able to Push TVI with no problems whatsoever. I didnt even have a single set p...

Um, just when are you bringing samples (gallons) of same to TR BBQ?? You know I've never thought about attending the TR BBQ before. And I certainly can make gallons of the broth. It also freezes quite well. I like to put it in Ice cube trays and pop a cube or two in Ramen to boost it. It's almost l...

Re: Native American Pemmican

In my neck of the woods, the farmers market is where I get the marrow bones. We have a bunch of (local) butchers that set up shop there to sell and take orders.

My use for them is for Pho. Only way to make a truly authentic Pho broth.

Re: Native American Pemmican

Unlikely, as no mammal tastes like chicken. I've heard that domestic (farmed) rabbit tastes kind of like chicken, though I don't personally recall (I think I've only had it once, and that was a while back). It does. I've had it few times in Italian dishes. Braised rabbit if you didn't know it taste...

Oh definitely! I would take an avid hunters description over a F&W guys anyday. Just as long as he isn't crazy. Another sighting we are getting regularly down here in Georgia are Coywolves. (Coywolf) They were originally thought to have a range from Virginia -> northward but seems that they are ...

Oh Ned I know what you mean we have one that routinely shows up on trail cams here in Georgia! But ours is probably a Florida Panther who was endangered but is now growing, thriving, and expanding. I am secure in my life enough to play with mild cheating to make my empire truly great. In the old days, I might have been dedicated to keep trying (for the pride) but I'm lazy now. It allows me to enjoy the game more with limited time spent. And here I thought I was the only one that did that. tra...

There's enough "good" DNA from permafrost-frozen mastodons/mammoths to fully expect that someone will clone one in the near future. Several teams are trying. I'm actually surprised they haven't been able to do it. Or if they have they are keeping it to themselves less they get a Jurassic ...

OK I'm thinking that if I do this, I would add some seasonings after grinding up the dried meat into power. Such as salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and garlic. OH yeah that stuff is good. But then again I like that umami taste of roasted sesame. I've had just about every product Kewpie has. But their Wasabi and Yuzu dressings are effing phenomenal! If you can find it you NEED to try the stuff.

Make sure you use Japanese "kewpie" Mayo. Thats stuff also rocks. Another item we had a lot of on Guam. Yep-yep, straight from the bladder. Do you use Kewpie roasted sesame dressing on meat? It's meant for salads, but I found that it goes well with grilled and breaded pork. It might work ...

Probably a dumb question but why not just go with a Go Pro and a window mount? Is there something very specific that's needed or that a "dashcam" has that a standard Go Pro doesn't?

In the HVAC business there are two that I like that are similar. "It's doing the same thing it did last time" which simply means it's not heating or cooling as expected but since you were out here two years ago and fixed it, you must not have done it correctly because it's broken again - ...
