Re: Advice on future proof build

1) What is your current GPU? Currently using a Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7770 1) Storage: ? Hopefully this includes an SSD. I'd recommend 500GB. Planning to use Crucial MX100 256GB SSD from older build. 1) Just out of curiosity, did you build your current Core2 rig. Yes! :) Been upgrading it over the yea...

Advice on future proof build

After 10 YEARS, my trusty Core 2 Duo rig died few months ago. I have been putting off build a new PC for quite some time now but have reach a breaking point. Feel its NOW or never! My usage requirements are simple - I'm a casual gamer, looking to build a future proof system (at least last me 5 years...

suggestions: MP3 player for the gym!

Hi, My better-half wants an audio player for her gym and I was looking for suggestions. Sandisk seems to have a clip sport mp3 player http://www.sandisk.com/products/music-video-players/clip-sport/ for less than $50 and Sony's wearable mp3 player looks neat http://store.sony.com/black-4-gb-bluetooth...

Re: Moving to VPS from shared hosting

I've been playing around with DigitalOcean ( https://www.digitalocean.com/pricing/ ) for almost a year now and its been quite enlightening. They have a $5/month plan - which is quite good to start off with and they charge hourly. They have quite a decent collection of guides and HowTo's. Looking int...

Re: Gfx woes - best 1080p card for ancient system

Thing is, it'll give you a boost now, and when you get around to upgrading your system, it'll give you a boost then as well. Since the GTX670 is quite overkill for 1080p it should also last you longer which might fit into your upgrade schedule better. This was my initial thought process too... but ...

Gfx woes - best 1080p card for ancient system

My graphics card has died atlast! Been holding off an upgrade for quite some time now. So its time. I've got a budget of $400 for a new graphics card. So been looking at GTX 670 (had shortlisted this card over a month back - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130787) but here i...

Re: Das Model S vs Corsair Vengeance K60

I've read about few cases where the "laser etched" Das keys have actually faded!... or maybe they were just true power users! :)

Any recommendations on wrist rests?
