Re: STAR WARS TIME! - Spoiler Lock Lifted

Well, since so many folks here seem to share this sentiment, here's a question: If folks like Ep4, 5, and 6 but loathe Ep1, 2, and 3, and don't like Ep7 and 8 to varying degrees, at what point does Star Wars just become bad? Bad as in, "that's a bad fictional universe and not worth my time&quo...

For some unknown reason, running it in compatibility mode worked today.

I can understand those who like to file on paper, but for me e-file is more convenient. I do my Dad's state and Federal taxes as well.

Re: HR Block 2017 sucks

Did you try right clicking on the Start Here.exe and choosing Troubleshoot Compatibility? That's a suggested solution I found, and I've had that work before even when setting the compatibility mode didn't work. Another suggestion was to delete the 2017 folder in %appdata%\taxcut. At this point, I w...

1. Computer is using correct timezone. 2. You can copy the flash drive to the desktop. You get the same error either way. 3. Didn't buy the flash drive - they mailed these to past purchasers. HR Block 2017 sucks

I've been using HR Block tax software for 10+ years. It used to be called TaxCut. This year, they sent out flash drives with the software. I thought this was a good idea since I use it anyway. However, it won't install. It throws a "date mismatch" error. I tried from the flash drive and co...

I still like Popeye's about 1-2 times a month. Love their spicy fried chicken. I haven't noticed the biscuit issue. I used to eat them in high school but those days are foggy now. My son loves the chicken tenders and the wife likes tenders and cajun rice sometimes. We also tried their cajun turkey t...

Well that's star wars in a nutshell, I didn't make nor would defend the writing or logic in it. Some are still better written than others. If they can build a self-contained/powered planet killer, then it's really a huge step backwards logically to build a solar system killer that requires a ...

Starkiller base was a planet. Apparently the New Republic's fleet was in orbit at the time. The logistics behi...

Sorry folks, but this was among the dumbest movies I've ever seen. No plot, endless pointless side trips, gravity in space, intolerable slapstick "jokes"... It's 2.5 hours I'll never get back. Sure looked pretty though. This may be the simplest way of stating the problems with trilogy 3 -...

Rotten Tomatoes 95% - I am not sure I see eye to eye with the critics these days. Disney can buy them too, right?

They only gave Rogue One an 85% which was one of the best SW movie of all. They gave Force Awakens a 93...yeah, they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

LotR TV show on Amazon

When you have stupid amounts of money you can do stupid things. Amazon threw down 250 million for the rights to Tolkien stories. I've read several articles and the most astonishing thing to me is: it looks like the actual books, the Silmarillion, the Unfinished Tales, are not included. This show is ...

And yet the BTC price is over 13000.

My kids love bubbles at bathtime.

Clicking on the chart link though, I can't tell what this is showing. Looks like a 61 million balance still. Not sure how to read it.
