The results or any survey like this that doesn't have an option for zero is so deeply flawed as to be worthless. I haven't watched a movie in theater for at least ten years simply because with my poor hearing I would much rather wait for the movie to be shown on TV or released on DVD so I can watch ...

Why don't cannibals eat clowns ? They taste funny. Why is diarrhea so common in cannibal tribes ? They eat too many fruits and vegetables. Why do cannibals like lepers ? Yummm ... meat falls right off dem bones. What did the cannibal say to Rosanne Barr ? Touch my plate again and I'll kill you.

Well, at least we know that Steve Tyler from Aerosmith wasn't faking it for the US anthem before the first game of the World Series. Sounded like starving cats fighting over a mouse. If he was going to use a tape, surely he would have used one where he managed to actually sing ? Maybe he forgot he h...

Nvidia stated they were not supporting socket 940 on the NF4 platform (CPU Mag interview). The jury is still out on S754, but since there a very large market for the 754 I'd be surprised if Nvidia didn't cater to this as a "low end" solution since AMD is still producing 754 CPU's including Sempron....

The amount of energy you receive from the sun in a day would not hurt you no matter how short the time interval. (please don't make me look up the numbers) Utter nonsense. The solar energy flux at the top of the earth's atmosphere is about 1300 W/m^2. On a mildly sunny day, what reaches the earth's...

To the estimate of 4000 Tons per year if we upped our share of Nuke electrical generation from its current IIRC, approx 20% to 90+%... That figure sounds very high...certainly for high-level waste in any case. Wags, correct me if I am wrong, but actual spent fuel per reactor per year...isn't that i...

Chernobyl, and other soviet reactors were so badly designed that there was for sure going to be an accident. From what I recall, they shut down saftey systems in order to do some kind of experiment, and the experiment allowed one part of the reactor to react uncontrollably, even while the rest of t...
