Re: Making sugar free ice cream

Out of curiousity, did you use liquid sucralose, or granule imitation sugar kind? The packeted type is stuffed with dextrose and not as low carb as the label indicates. Lies, Lies!

Re: World Of Warcraft

Our boomkin takes the role of damage dealer very seriously. He does some very decent dps, depending on the fight. Never in the top 3 but he's also a battle rez and a innervater to a shadowpriest. Here's his armory: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shu%27halo&n=Faelar

Re: World Of Warcraft

If the item is better, equip it. Don't get attached to t1 or 2 set bonuses. You really won't be using them at 70. Your stam will go up at an absurd rate per lvl and gearing. Also, you will have alot of sellable gear from quests, and quest rewards that you will want to hold onto in order to afford a ...

Got Archimonde for the first time on Sunday. I was surprised to walk away with the t6priest helm. Now to see if we can repeat tonight, without the prerequisite 80wipes.

Re: World Of Warcraft

I'm guessing Archimonde must have gotten lucky on you if Teron Gorefiend didn't take you below 40%. He's been the heaviest hitter for us so far. Maybe its just the nature of the Gorefiend fight that has healers scrambling to heal the raid, while dying, that makes it seem that way though. I think Arc...

As a shadowpriest, i'd choose salvation over all. woo. I'm pretty well versed in the priest and druid class, but i'm a complete noob with my pally too. Prot spec, i can't even remember to keep up righteous fury which basically is my threat. I have no problem with auras and blessings. Though i enjoy ...

I've found that healing in arena, and dpsing in pve have been a good way to shake most of the monotony that plagues anyone who plays this game all too often. Of course, not everyone has a healing class. As for alts, I too have just given up logging them in unless I must farm herbs, or for quick aren...

Got Vashj for the first time last night. Rewarding after 4 full nights of wipes over 3 weeks (1 week skipped). Of course I couldn't fully celebrate because I died at 7% after getting 2 static charges in a row, hehe. good fun though. On to Kael'thas, and making more flasks!

Grats Ttocs

Fathom Lord will absolutely suck until you get 2 adds down. After that, expect a 1-2shot from then on. Our kill order is Hunter, pet, shaman. priest, boss. keeping hunter and shaman close to burn down the spitfire totems.

On Tidewalker we have a method that is almost always effective. Bear tank first off, with his butt facing the tunnel that heads to Fathom lord, as close as possible to it. Put Salv on healers for this one, especially chain healing shaman. Basically, have 2 different parties. the non aoe dps and mt h...

Ttocs, if Al'ar has been an issue recently, and morale is low, go for the new "and improved" Solarian. It took us all of 4 tries to kill her, and threat is no issue until 25% when its becomes even more absurdly easy. the STRAT! melee with tanks group. healers/casters/hunters group. each gr...

BTW, Why in the hell are you still on windrunner? Isn't it a dying server? Absolutely, hehe. I haven't updated my sig. Gerbiliana and Goulet on Shu'halo are now my 2 toons. Windrunner Horde side is very close to the stone age now. Shu'halo isn't exactly populated but its a nice balance of Horde/All...

I'm mixed on using any arcane resist on curator. On our first kills, we had a rogue and cat druid in moderate arcane gear try to grab the astral adds asap when they appeared. For me as a healer, this seemed to help keep them alive. But the bottom line is, the faster they die, the less damage your ra...

I use shadowfiend on Moroes, but we usually go with 1 shackle, so i'm only breaking my own mob if he gets frisky. Yes he does run to the wrong target on occasion but thats why I stand max range from them. I generally run right up to Moroes after he reappears from vanish, see if he has a pally blessi...

When i'm shackling, I like the MS warrior, because more often then not, if a shackle breaks early, he just whirlwinds in place and gives me extra time to reshackle, but hehe, of course i've been lucky enough to not be hit by him yet. Also having your priest use a focus macro on the shackle target to...

Sounds like you're making nice progress on Moroes, though I prefer to keep the ms warrior shackled for the whole fight and just have the Moroes offtank also tank one of the pally or warrior adds. I think Moroes was seriously our biggest holdup in the entire instance, and 40% means things will soon g...

I don't know if you've done it.. but i'm going thru looking at quest that are giving gear as rewards to complete. The only 'bad' thing about the quest is usually they are chain quest.. and usually require a group. But the rewards are usually worth it. This is by no means gospel, but this is a good ...

Woo. Got Shade of Aran and Prince Malchezaar last night for the first time. Shade was much more rewarding to kill, he's much harder than Prince, particularly his last 40%. Maybe its no coincidence that it was the first time we took a Paladin into Karazhan. Now to run some heroics to be able to summo...

Temporus (boss 2 Black Morass). He buffs himself every 20 seconds or so with a haste buff, making him hit you all that much faster and stack that awful debuff on you. Have priest/shaman/mage purge or spellsteal it. Also, i tanked it for the first time on my alt druid the other day. I noticed he did ...

If its regarding the robots in Arcatraz, their threat AI is different than most. While they shoot lightning at melee range people for 800 or so damage, i've heard that if you all stay in range, aggro won't jump all over the place. Its not a big issue except on the 2 pull, way later in the instance, ...

Some Heroics are more evil than others, I've noticed. Mechanar was virtually free heroic badges with a Warlock in the party, and 1 healer who can deliver heal bombs on the robot destroyer guys. (though they've made several mobs banish/enslave immune in the patch). Very much like the regular instance...

Did Aeonus tonight, seemed so anticlimactic after the second boss. Definitely like Black Morass, though group balance is so very important. Also finished Arcatraz for the first time. I like Ossirian. Definitely more things going on in that fight than anything in MC, ZG or BWL. And you'll find some people using his loot for a long time yet. On top of it all, it's a fun fight. GL with him. He'll be dead in no time.
