Ive got a intel macbook pro (2.33GHz C2D, 3GB DDR2 667MHz RAM) but im iffy on it when it comes to gaming. This model has the X1600 but Apple significantly downclocked the speed of the card to reduce the heat and noise output from the fan. Im not sure about the models with Nvidia cards but i wouldnt ...

Nessus and Nmap, 'nough said. You can put that service on any port, and any script kiddie can find it in seconds. Dont rely on that to protect you.

Eyonix just announced that there will be another content patch before the expansion. According to what i read Tseric state about that, it will just bridge the current client with the BC client, so that ppl who dont buy the expansion can still play WoW along with those who do...they just wont be abl...

They are implementing that in the expansion.

My guild doesn't seem to have the fortitude to even advance in AQ40. Most of us are lazy and figure the expansion is coming anyway and will just push the big reset button. On another note, how is your hunter Chubrock? aka Hotsecretary. Is he a good player? He was a drama magnet on the horde side an...

Im hoping we reclear that wing tonight and take them ...

Re: I think a stalker could find me now

I'm pretty sure the only English class you have to take is "technical writing" or somesuch your frosh year. That's hardly out of the ordinary. How many engineering programs at any school require much more? I haven't taken an English class since high school. There are exceptions. I graduated from St...

I've got tons of yellow/red quest, but they all kill me; i'm supposed to kill lots of elite higher lvl creeps and npc--some of them as high as 43 elites, and all of htem in the middle of mobs. Nothing lower than 38. I'm so not happy ...

Corruption + agony + immolate on 1 mob = tons O' damage. Yes for trash maybe, but forget trash dps, that doesnt matter much. More important is the bosses. Look at Patchwerk or Thaddius, you have 5 minutes to dps through 3+ million health or however much they have before they enrage and annihilate y...

My main lock consistantly is on top or damn near it with damage. You can attack more targets with DoTs at once, and wand in the meantime. No way they shouldn't be top DPS. At least from what i gather from our locks, they seem to be saying that so many other DoTs and debuffs are being put up onto ev...

Not so, particularly after the recent mage review. Take a pure dps fight like Patchwerk for example. With mages and rogues hitting over 600-700 dps, i dont see locks ever coming close to that. 4-5 fire mages staggering their Combustions can keep a rolling ignite going that annihilates anything else ...

At least in my guild, the one class that is woried about effectively being phased out for shamans is the Warlock class. We almost never carry more than 3 in a raid for curses, summons, ss, and imps. They cant heal obviously, and cant compete with hunters, mages and rogues in pure dps. Whenever someo...

Shaman players (esp the ones I've talked to) are very frustrated with their role in endgame. Pigeon-holing Shamans into a strict healing role takes a huge investment in talent points and a lot of fighting over healer gear to make up for the shortcomings of a shallow mana pool an inefficient spells....

I worry that Shaman players, deeply invested in their toons, will now be bumped from raid content. You've essentially getting 9 classes fighting for raid slots, where there used to be only 8. Bliz has shown that they basically have no interest in any endgame other than PvE raids, and Pallies are ge...
