Windows Vista OEM

Hey guys, Windows Vista is available as pre-order (might have been released now, I dont know). However you've Vista's going for 400Euro's and Vista's going for about 90. The latter one has OEM in it's name, meaning I won't get a nice box and a handguide, which I don't need anyway. However, I just ca...

I could of course decide to get an nVidia card, however I don't have any money left after the purchase of the BenQ . But Im wondering one thing though, what happens if I run a game at 1...

Im not sure, but from what I heard 1:1 pixel mapping will only be annoying when you plug in an external source with a lower/other resolution then 1920x1200? Like an XBOX 360, PS 3 etc. Im not sure since I asked this in my own topic, but no one seems to answer that one. From what I understand you can...

As Im not sure if the Acer one I linked earlier can scale well I tried to find a different 24" screen that actually could. Now according to some f...

I started to read on behardware, and it turns out HD things are nice, but GPU's don't support them yet and thus it's utter rubbish to have atm. As well I don't see it happen that HDTV is coming here in Europe that quick. I suppose that when it actually hits in here there will be some sort of convert...

You can use aspect scaling to force 1600x1200 (or even lower) and play your games with black bars. I don't see a problem with that. Oh? I didn't know that :P. In that case if I run into problems with 1920x1600 Ill just do the scaling thingy. Still need to update the GPU then, shame to have black ba...

New monitor, but can my GPU do it?

Hey guys, After considering to get a system upgrade I let my mind fall up on something else, maybe a new monitor? My CRT must be already 6~7 years, or even older. It's a CTX 21" screen. Black isn't even black, more dark green-ish. Colours never have been 100% good according to old reviews. But it wo...

939 vs AM2

Hey guys, Vista and DX10 are coming closer and closer, and it's time for a few updates again lol. So now my main question is, stay with 939 or AM2? AM2 doesn't show any kind of advantage yet, I don't understand anything about DDR2 (those latencies just look scary) etc. Besides that, 939 opterons are...
