Your worrying yourself way to much about this. Just buy it because it will work. Nothing to worry about. Also no "legals" will fall onto Newegg because they aren't the ones offering the coupon. The coupon comes prepackaged with Windows XP straight from Microsoft. Just buy a $5 dollar mouse from Newe...

Another note is the 64 shader pipelines. Part of me wonders if this is just a move to trump the X1900's 48 shader pipelines, or a better-motivated move on nVidia's part. It's not like them to use asymmetrical architectures, but it seems to be the happening thing with GPUs lately. The specs shown ar...

Zalman 7000CU heatsink (one of the best purchases I've made!). I'm having a little trouble getting the fan speed control to work. Epox's bundled system monitoring software is bloated suck-ware :( I have the Zalman 7000cu as well. First had it on my AXP 2500@3200 and now on my Sempron 64 3100. A ver...

I don't know for sure. I normally run it at 270, but your post got me thinking and I've got it at 330 right now. Seems to be prime95 stable so far and everything is working fine. I'm shooting for 400. I'll let you know when I hit it.

Yes I love my Sempron system as well. 1800mhz to 2430mhz @ 1.5v. I can run it completely stable at 2700mhz but i have to up the voltage to 1.65v. I don't like running it that high so I live with a 630mhz OC.

I love my DFI board and haven't run into any "quirks", but then again I'm not using a NF4 board. The only reason I went with DFI is because of the extra ram dividers. I don't understand why other board makers wouldn't add that to their bios's. The business that DFI has been taking away from other bo...

Its actually feels rather cool to the touch I have to leave my hand on the drive for a few seconds to notice any warmth. The pcb is slightly warmer than the rest of the drive, but it's fairly cool as well. After running Norton AV scan for 15 min or so it gets a little warmer, but not anything close ...

S.M.A.R.T. readings.........

I've had 2 programs tell me that my hdd is running at 52c and that my other hdd is running at 30c. It looks like a Rev 2.0 of X1800XT. The R580 just has a bunch of extra pixel texture units over the R520 with some minor tweaks. It is like 6800 series to 7800 series or 9700Pro to 9800Pro. Actually it has the same number of pixel texture units, but triple the pixel shader units over the R520. It w...

Well Sony reps have that the PS3 will support FPS and RTS gaming with usb mice and keyboards so if they PS3 comes out with some earth shatteringly good FPS game that you can only play on it I'll get one. It would be my first console since the N64.
