I had forgotten how bad Nemesis was, when Picard meets Dr Evil.

I think we will get used to the new actors playing Kirk and Spock halfway through the series they launch after the film.

Hey guys, thanks for your advice. I was really just having a rant, and couldn't countenance the idea of doing any more. However your ideas have refortified me, and I will have another go tomorrow and let you know how I got on.

TR stars again.

Media center edition woes

Spent all day trying to install MCE on my new build. During installation continually asked for SP2 disc (which didn't come with the discs, so had to cancel this bit). On installation clearly things badly wrong, even IE wasn't available. After many hours of frustration have given up, and sinking susp...

Actually that would be a perfect film, and they would not need to change the script to get a female action character.

My main beef with laptops is that my ham fists always seem to break the little mouse pads sooner or later, and then writing a doc becomes a game of catch the jumping cursor.

I also seem to have got two types of meat in one sentence.

Lunar Eclipse

The full lunar eclipse will occur here in about 10 minutes. It started a couple of hours ago as the moon started to go in to the shadow, but of course being Scotland the sky was full of clouds and I was reduced to waiting for a 30 sec peek between gaps in the cloud, but now the cloud is gone and the...

I go through phases with Rush, although from the album JBI displayed it has to be said that Finding my way and Working Man are immortal greats, but there are times when that voice grates a little. Also JBI, totally right about Cat People, although for some reason known only to Bowie, the single vers...

musical memory lane

Having recieved one of these for crimbo, I am amazed at how it has affected my musical choices, I started loading it with albums, but having noticed the shuffle button, I now seem to be incessantly playing downloaded "45's" from the late 70's and 1980's.
