Woohoo! I just broke back into top 10 producers on the team!

On a 2.4GHz. core I7 laptop, a 2.2GHz. core I3 laptop, and a 3GHz. dual core Xeon all running the Chrome client when the systems are not being used for other things.

Really kinda sad if you think about it...

I live in Oregon and it does get cold here in the winter. Right now I have gutted all the interior walls in my house and I am trying to get it insulated and drywalled before the cold weather hits. But they are still selling the Q6600 (retail) for $199.99-

Re: GPU2 CLIENT IS HERE!!!! THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!

One the machine at home, I've overclocked the 3870 to 832 core, 1141 memory and FahMon is showing 1600 ppd on the GPU. Like the P4D, on the E3110 the GPU activity bops around between 40% and 80%, and the core speed on the GPU bounces back and forth, but between ~700MHz. and 832MHz.

Q6600 $179.99 & Q9330 $249.99

Fry's has the G0 Q6600 retail for $179.99. You have to add it to the cart to see the marked down price.

Microcenter has the Q9300 OEM for $249.99.

Re: GPU2 CLIENT IS HERE!!!! THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!

You are correct, GPU2 has to be run on 2000 or 3000 series Radeons. I can verify first hand that you can't "round up" the model numbers and run GPU2 on the x1950. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm freaked out about points. At this point, I understand it's early in GPU2's life. But I am tryin...

Re: GPU2 CLIENT IS HERE!!!! THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!

Right. I haven't done anything to try to improve PPD. Just loaded it up and let it do it's thing to see what it'd do. The 3870 at home is running on an E3110 @ 3.6GHz. At the office, I have another 3870 on a P4D@3.2GHz. So I tossed it on there this morning. FahMon is reporting that that GPU is doing...

Re: TR Folding Team's April 1st 2008 Status Update Report

It really depends on what else you do with the machine. At home I put the E3110 in my gaming rig, and Q6600's in my more 'serious' boxes. I opted for the E3110 since the additional MHz. have a bigger impact on games than the additional cores would. Plus the E3110's doing 3.6GHz. without even breakin...

Just for the timeouts. The WU's on the standard client tend to have much longer deadlines than those on the SMP client.

Welcome to the team! I think your available uptime is going to be the mitigating factor. While the SMP WU's provide better points, they also have short deadlines. Well 41.60l23, I'm sorry but I had to take the Celeron and Duron offline tonight. Just couldn't justify keeping them running with the 2 Q6600's and E3110 I brought online tonight.

Should be good for a bit more than 350 ppd. :D
