when the ram was in my P4 system I experianced the Slow startup time's also so I am guessing it's just the ram and once I get the gig of good memory my PC will be speedy again. I'm sure every other component I have is fine and it all comes down to ram. If you were getting errors, bad boot times, or...

Unless you are going to overclock, go with the corsair. There's no point in spending the extra $$$ unless you're overclocking, and as Forge said, athlons like low CAS timings better than higher clock speeds. Read some reviews on the barton core to get some better info on this.

Actually PC2700 runs @ 166 x 2 = 333
You're thinking of PC2100
