I didnt know anything about him, until I heard he passed on the TWIT podcast, where they played back short clips of his interviews; he was fun an funny to listen to https://twit.tv/shows/this-week-in-tech/episodes/631?autostart=false I then did more reading on him. I'll give you this advice. Spend the most your budget allows, and try to consider the following features, the the most important things first: *Ability to shred credit card, optical discs, staples and large paper clips. (This usually comes with the ability to handle more pages at once and is less pr...

Delete and reinstall your wif device on your laptop, and download multiple version of the drivers for it and have them handy.
The delete and reinstall of the device usually works for me, but some drivers work better then others

Re: Computer starts for 3-5 seconds, resets, stays on but does nothing.

The bios question is a good point, I do not know what it is, I will call ASROCK and ask, though my experience with them is that they don't do tech support, they just replace. U think the bios isn't recognizing the CPU and causing it to not power on? I really think it is the power supply. It is one ...

Re: Computer starts for 3-5 seconds, resets, stays on but does nothing.

.......... I'd like to believe it is the PSU but I don't think it is, as another power supply couldn't solve my previous board not receiving power If you tried another PS after the first PS already killed the board, the result would have been the same, so that logic is a bit flawed. I have seen a l...

Re: How to Delete Cookies Automatically at Browser Exit?

It is a lot easier to just use Private/Incognito mode if you're visiting sites you don't want to save cookies from. Dumping all of your cookies every time you exit the browser is going to make many sites less convenient to use. I dont worry to much about the sites I use, but if I do have a concern,...

This sounds like a classic case of a iffy power supply; it started dying and killed the first board is what I am guessing

Re: TR BBQ XIV - Official Thread (7/15/17 confirmed)

Well, finally made it to Erie, PA after 10+ hours. Western New York, especially Buffalo, is a flash flood mess, causing several detours. At least I think I can avoid the main problem areas in Ohio (from the same storm) tomorrow. For those that make a longer and more difficult trip, like Captain Ned...

I cant find my video from 2004, and I think it is because I shot it on MicroDV tape, and cant remember if I burned it to a disk. However, I did find a few more videos and photos from 2004 (BBQ I) and 2005 (BBQ II). These should provide good entertainment :) 2004 https://www.dropbox.com/s/sgo0pxfqwxy...

If you can't figure it out from logging in to the switch, can you at least aim a webcam at the switch that you can access remotely from your laptop, so you can see the lights as you walk around and unplug/plug each computer? That's exactly what I was thinking. Or Facetime/Skype with a phone aimed a...
