Re: What are you FEELING right now?

being a guy, that's not something I think about. However, I am smart enough to know that what we feel is a symptom of what we live and what we live is what gets things done and determines where we're going to end up so the question can make for a good litmus test. Anger, anxiety and even happiness c...

Re: Adding Record On Query Generates "Cannot Add Record"

Can you post the Insert query that is giving the error?

I see you are using a common value which is Order.

I really don't think you can use a Join in an Insert statement by the way.

My guess would be that there is no element with the id "demo" double check the rest of the code to make sure you didn't leave that out.

I think that is the main reason I fiddle with pet projects. The need for balance that I can find with a creative outlet.

Re: What's your hobby project?

I have been dabbling with a skinnable and customizable we based php role playing game. Vaguely along the lines of the functionality behind kingdom of loathing but one that allows not technical people to build it (or brand it) however they choose. If only I could find more time. I am taking a week of...

But of course I kept it real and told her I was a hard core web developer. Now that's gangsta.

Re: IE issue with CSS

At the to of my style sheets I reset the margins and padding as well as several other elements that aren't consistent from one browser to the next (such as the q tag) so that I don't have these surprises later on.

Funny that you should ask what's the best when there are only a handful out there.

I favor Avast as well.

I tried BitDefender and ran into too many issues.

In truth I just miss AVG.

I think alot of issues have gotten confused. While roaches have definately proven themselves to be one of the greatest survivors in the history of time, this is a completely different issue from being advanced. We as a species are undoubtedly more "advanced" than any other by the nature of the word....
