Ok i'm not sure if this is the right section to put this in but the mods will move it if need be. I recently got a zip drive 250 internal. Is there any procedure to convert this to an external drive(usb or firewire)? Since nobody has zip drives, it would suit me better as an external.

Ok so just the other day this component showed up and can't install. In device manager under other devices it says "OVU5002(DFU)". anyone have any idea what this is?
This has been happening for a while and i'm just now getting around to asking. Whenever i download something in firefox, before the download can begin, the computer checks the floppy drive. It might happen other times but i notice it then all the time. Any ideas how i can stop that?
