Re: AMD Navi / RDNA Topic

Awright! I bought the ASUS 5700XT...it should be here tomorrow. I'll have to upgrade my RAM (2400 to 3200) next month to finish out this build.

___
ahh, scratch that. Finances are a bit tight for that. I'll buy it next month though.

Since almost nothing meets the actual default standard in full I'm not sure that means much.

*shrug* I'm more interested in HDMI 2.1s VRR at this point, but we're not really there yet.

I may end up getting one of these sooner than I planned...if I can.

Re: When did this happen? DropBox "free" limits to 3 devices!

Well, with drive capacities being what they are these days, single-bay is probably enough for most people unless you want to run some sort of redundancy (RAID-1/5/6/10). I've had pretty good longevity on my drives overall also, not worried about one failing on me at all. Most of my important stuff ...

Thanks for the info. That's exactly what they're doing. Quite unnerving, and were it not for them already heavily nagging me via other methods, I might have suspected malware. Calling and ragging on a CSR isn't likely to accomplish much, so maybe it's just time to start looking at VPNs. Spending mo...

With the rumor of the Nvidia Super RTX gpu's release, on July 2. and AMD's on July 7. AMD may have to re-adjust the sale price of these cards, even before their official release. Yeah if you don't know where you're gonna plug the car then that's gonna be a problem. I'm hopeful that will resolve itself for the next time, at least it's allot easier than installing gas stations this time around, even basic dryer power outlets can be all that's needed. I guess it depends on your usage case, some lifestyle examples to consider: - Living in an apartment without plug access vs having your own home with a laundry plug in the garage. - How often do you go out of town, 99 percent of your driving is under 50 or 100 miles? Or the other way around? - Does...

Battery tech for EVs is supposed to improve significantly shortly from what I know, but it still probably won't be a big deal. If what you get works for you as is, then there isn't a problem.
