Do *NOT* tell your wife you are attracted to another woman. It's "normal" - healthy, some say - to be attracted to other people. That's fine. But you just may irreparably damage the faith your wife has in you. Is that a price you are willing to pay just so you can feel better (or relieved, or whatev...

Amazon has the 1 gb iRiver T10 for $89. Never judge by the MSRP. So I ended up purchasing this: iRiver T10 (1gb) And it's AWESOME! It has nothing to do with Apple. It's colorful, compact, and the menu system is very user-friendly. It even does FM radio! I don't care about being non-apple, but your d...

Awesome. I had a 15 lb Maine Coon who could be pretty fierce - and he looked the part. However, he was absolutely terrified of bears. He once hid for 2 hours after seeing one through the window.

Many newer AMD-based motherboards have manuals that recommend an ATX v2.x PSU. In addition to more stable performance, there are other features - such as built-in fan control - that are part of the ATX v2.x spec. So I would say that tin order to take advantage of all the benefits/features some of th...

Flying Fox is not trying to scare away potential help for your quandary; he's suggesting there may be ways to increase your PC's performance more profoundly than a faster hdd. Switching to AMD 64 does not cost "billions of dollars". A 3700+ with a S939 motherboard can be had at Newegg for under $300...

Yes, but some 17 or 18 years pass from the time Frodo "comes of age" at 33 to when he sets off for Rivendell.

I blame Elijah Wood. He was totally miscast. He should have been an elf, not a Hobbit, what with that girly, fine-boned look he has. Also Frodo is supposed to be in his 50s according to the book, which makes the Frodo/Sam relationship less of gay thing and more of a Master/Servant friendship and re...

Nelliesboo, you need to chill out. Why on earth would you attack Vrock's military service? It's not just Bonds who's being singled out for steroid use. Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmiero, Jason Giambi and others have felt/are feeling the heat as well. I believe a total of 11 MLB players and also some min...

WE can think what we want about Bonds. WE can be disappointed by his guilt. YOU, on the other hand, don't understand the history, the journey, the ride we've been on. YOU don't remember the 90 losses in 1992, the potential St. Petersburg Giants. YOU weren't there that day when Pacific Bell Park ope...

Re: how to get the best out of my new card

Just bought a 6600 gt 256 ram to replace my old fx5700 le, however at the moment I dont seem to be getting near the performance Ive seen its capable of in benchmark tests, an example on here I saw a counter strike source test and they got nearly 100 fps while I am getting only 50 (1028x768).
