Re: dymt reloaded

I've been in the Pacific Northwest now for about a year and a half, and... I actually like the weather. It doesn't get as hot as PHL does, yet it doesn't get as cold. We get more cloudy days, and maybe a bit more rain. Bellevue itself seems to be in a bit of a bubble, too - nearby Kirkland, Redmond ...

I had one of their super-overclocked 5870s go bad a couple years ago. It wasn't anything amazing (good or bad), they just sent me a new card in a couple weeks.

Maybe, but judging by the label, it's a generic case. My parents had something similar for our K6-233.

It's kind of surreal to think that I've been registered to this site for nearly 10 years. Even more surreal to think everything that's happened since then. At the time I've registered, I was attending community college, competing in video games, and working a part time job. Since then, I've gotten m...

It seems like during events like this one, having more than one account would be a massive benefit, so maybe it's frowned upon?

Nope. Just make sure you install the right games to the right account.

So... I see that there's the new v7 client, and it seems that they finally replaced the Brook+ core for the newer ATi cards, but I haven't found much information on it. On to of my GTX 580 and an overclocked 980X, I also have an overclocked 5870 that I pulled out of the machine (but can put back in)...

I beat the game last week, it was pretty fun. Only did a few coop levels, but it's pretty neat (and more challenging than the single player portion, from what I saw. I didn't like the fact that you were led more to one solution to each puzzle - it seemed like there was more room for interpretation i...

I went back to Mal'Ganis since my guild of old friends had some logistical issues getting more than one 10 man going. This group is doing 25s, and they didn't start until after the holidays, and had trouble getting rosters filled until about mid-january. I came to them in February (after one of thei...

It's an unapologetic wow clone, and an ugly one at that. I'd be willing to experiment with it more if there wasn't some drama with the people I would have been playing with.

I try to stay away from anything Nexon makes. Micro-transfer games are extremely frustrating IMO. To fight people that have a supremely unfair advantage cause they have cash to burn. >< Firstly, you're not really "competing" against anyone in Vindictus, as it's a PvE only game. Second, th...

It's fun, and it's different, to a point Despite the XP levels being doubled for the western version, the game gets pretty grindy and boring. I have a Level 24 fiona and got bored of it. I didn't even make it to hammers. If there was more interesting boss encounters in the game, it might be worth pi...

Bartender, Shadowed Unit Frames, DBM/BigWigs, Omen, Quartz. That's not a complete list, but it's what I'm using. I still have to add scrolling combat text, a better disease timer, and a few other things.

I think its funny how Blizzard is making such a huge deal about how they are going back to CC and hard dungeons and the like when the end of Cata will be exactly like the end of Wrath. Once the second tier of raid gear is available for justice points the heroics will be so trivial no one will do an...

Incorrect. It averages the item levels for the highest ilvl item for each slot. It doesn't look at anything but the highest ilvl weapon, boots, belt, legs, two trinkets, etc. It doesn't care about vendor trash. It only goes down when you vendor an item that is already the highest ilvl item. If you r...

Re: World Of Warcraft

Average Item Level calculates the average item level of the highest ilvl item for each slot that you are capable of equipping, whether it's equipped or in your bags/bank. So, if you're a warrior and have a plate green ilvl 312 belt, but you got a blue mail 333 belt as a reward, then vendor the blue ...

I played it a few months ago, and stopped when my friends were apparently playing on a PvP server, which is dumb. Unregulated (i.e., no factions, anyone can gank) PvP, where you can lose gear in the process. I know that might have been the 'old way' in EQ, but I'll pass, thanks. PvE-wise, it seemed ...

There were a few of them here by me, one in one of the malls, another one near my high school. I think both of them closed down, but I won a CS tournament at the one in the mall. The PC bangs in korea are also likely why they're more apt to enjoy the korean MMOs that many of us don't like - they han...

I second derFunk. The first MK movie was nowhere near in the same league as the Street Fighter movie. Awful beyond awful. Might as well bundle the Mario Bros. movie with SF in the "really, really bad video game movie" category.

The authenticator "hack" Is a trojan, there's some information on it on mmo-champ, and a few other things.

The grind in this game isn't as boring as, say, Aion's or some of the free-to-play MMOs that some of my friends are playing. I'm hoping TERA fares better, but we'll see.

That's fair, but there are plenty of others I could have easily put in it's place, not even counting Unreal. RtCW and it's spinoffs/sequels, TF2, even BF:BC2 or CS because it's easier to die, so you have to act and respond fast or be killed.
