do you have another machine to test the device on? if it does the same thing on another machine, most likely that the usb interface is going bad on it. I had an external USB enclosure do the same thing and in the end I replaced the enclosure as it was dying.
And speaking of Vista and 7, I'm intending to avoid those and stick with XP as long as I possibly can. I guess I'll have to switch eventually, like it's inevitable, but not now, I don't! No *beep*ing way! You can make something of a case for XP over Vista, but 7? No, you can't...well not unless you...
1. all modern laptops will automatically stop charging when the battery is full and there is no reason to remove it from the machine 2. putting the battery in the fridge is bad especially in high humidity areas
one you have the BT adapter and you pair it, WIndows will report it as a BT audio device or some other thing depending upon what it's capabilites are. MY phone shows up as an audio gateway (this means I can use my PC as a speaker phone)
This applies to WIndows NT x86 when you do not use PAE. 1. The OS total addressable memory space is 4GB, this includes physical ram and the device I/O table. This applies when using PAE. 1. PCI devices must support > 32bit addressing ( a whole crapload of them do not) for best stability and performa...
I need a decent point and shoot camera that will time/date stamp photos for my up coming trip. I know the camera encodes the date into the picture but I need a timestamp on the photo.
The very first PC build of my own was a Z-station 425 that got "lost" during shipment and was later returned to the shipper (my friend) completely gutted. I then proceeded to upgrade them with a 486 DX/2-66, 16MB of ram, AB 16 audio card, 4x Toshiba CD-Rom, WDC 80MB hdd, and an extra 256K ...
get a new laptop and get one with the largest battery possible at the time of purchase. I got a vostro 1400 almost 2 years ago and a 9 cell battery at the time. Buying the battery after purchase will typically set you back $150 or so versus the $50 upgrade price.
when I login and I see "bleep ATi" or any other company for that matter it's pretty much a given that the person really does not understand how to solve his problems.... I had an NF4 board and that thing was constantly locking up and needless to say I replaced it with a ABIT AT8 board and everything...
sure it is a DX 9 capable card but unfortunately when it is forced to run at DX9 specs it has at best 1/2 to 2/3 of the speed of the R3X00 cards.... If nVIdia was so good at running D3 why is it when it is forced to run in the arb2 path it has exactly 1/2 the speed of R300? Sure I want a card that h...
you can try to delete it and when it asks for a user name and password put in the information that was related to that profile. if that fails then FORMAT
Your conclusion is flawed. I have countless Windows 2000, XP installs that are running flawlessly. IF what you said were true then no one would buy the software. Your system obviously has some sort of other issues. You might try listing some specs about what you are running in order to diagnose the...
it has to do with the game switching to a lower res than your desktop. most newer DX apps and OGL apps save your screen state before they switch res and restore it back to the way it was before the res change took place. If the app does not save the screen state then your icons are all messed up. I ...
