I noticed some information that may be of interest to you in one of the information brochures on one of the government websites. I had never heard of an "IDA" program before. http://www.dallasfed.org/ca/wealth/pdfs/wealth.pdf Here's a quote from page 14 of the aforementioned PDF. In some communities...

I am looking to save up some money [...] I'm hoping to have $1,200-$2,000 between new year's and this time next year. I didn't see a mention of the term budget anywhere in your post. If you had said: I have 400 rabbits now. I am able to capture 5 new rabbits per day. My rabbits multiply, so I have ...

One of the pre-made recovery, testing and small distro "swiss army knife" CD's make a nice addition to anyone's toolbox. Multi Distro is an excellent example: http://multidistro.tlm-project.org/ Or, do a search for words like "small," "tools" or other keywords at Distrowatch. Distrowatch: http://dis...

If you need "live" help, head on over to irc.freenode.net There are channels for all of the major distributions and packages. It's a very popular IRC network that a large number of developers, professionals and enthusiasts frequent. It's also where the "official" #techreport and #2cpu channel is.

no it's not...nor would you ever want to Yes, people definately want to. The changes to DCOM "break" some applications. Other, non-DCOM apps install, load and run fine on machines originally loaded with an SP1 or prior XP, but won't work on natively SP2 installed machines (i.e., with Win XP SP2 ori...

It was weak when I first noticed it late Sunday evening about 10:00 PM. I thought they were thin ice or snow clouds reflecting ground light. Then, about 1:30 to 2:00 AM, they really put on a show. I woke up my wife (who had never seen them) and dragged her ass out to the deck and watched the show. T...

From the looks of it, there is a new one coming out. There is something about the "next generation" AVG <a href=http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/16/lng/us/tpl/v5>here</a>. I'm glad you found that link. The Grisoft mail server hasn't replied to my original request after two hours. I'm guessin...

I should have included the link in my first post. http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php I just tried to re-register to see if there's going to be a free version of 7.X and their mail server hasn't sent out a response. Grisoft discontinuing AVG 6.X Free Edition

http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_upgrade.php It doesn't look like they're going to continue any free anti-virus products at this point. I may have missed something and this may not be the case. In my cursory search on the Grisoft website, it appears that they're not going to be offering any free produc...

This is going to sting Bill and FOX a bit.

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013043mackris1.html The woman goes on for page after page with details seemingly unrelated to her sexual harassment lawsuit. It's very damning to Bill O'Reilly and FOX news--especially the threat parts with relation to her and what is going to happen to Al Fran...

I'm currently planning on going as an Islamic fundamentalist/suicide bomber, but that could change at any minute if something more offensive comes to mind. I can't figure it out. I want to try without trying to find the answer on the intarweb. I've stared at this thing for a good ten minutes and it doesn't appear to be an illusion. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious--heck, the link even has the word "illusion" in it. Anyway, have a look and see if y...

Adobe Reader (Acrobat) is fast if you strip it down to it's skivvies. It loads about as fast as Notepad. If you're searching for a job, use America's Job Bank.

It's the government's job website. It's really nice, really big, has lots of no-nonsense features and it's "free" (i.e., paid for by tax dollars) for employers and potential employees.
