Re: Stay Safe!

Our network is still talking to each other constnatly and I can tell you there's problems filling up in SA and Dallas and Austin today :/ Mostly because people are panicky. MIB had it right.

I like living in the panhandle!

Re: Stay Safe!

been on 12 hour shifts since this started doing our back end work.

I'm exhausted and I'm not even out there doing ****, I'm just in an office.

I had no idea Texas had this many shallow water draft boats, and it *still* isn't enough.

Re: Eclipse on August 21

Pretty much total cloud cover and rain all afternoon. Rained out my shooting trip, and the eclipse was overshadowed (heh) by the clouds--couldnt really tell.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

when I was a young teen--pre driving--we were behind motorcycle that lost control and wound up going into a concrete median divider; with the driver going head first. He was not wearing a helmet and it was grotesque. My mom was driving (a minivan IIRC) and I was in the front and got to see what happ...

Re: Fish hobbyist thread (aquariums and tanks - not the sport)

I have my nice happy 30 gallon with a betta and a bristlenose pleco and tons of plants. Easy care sicne it's lightly stocked and heavily planted and decently filtered. That's how I like doing fish Though I would still like a nice 500 gallon community tank...that someone else had to clean and maintai...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

That sounds unsettlingly gruesome.

I got my hospital bill from my accident a few weeks back :/ Ouch. Still waiting on the ambulance bill. And seeing what sort of coverage physical therapy gets.

Does anyone have any ways to stop being clumsy as hell?

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

This weekend, I got to find out what it feels like to fall and crack the small of your back. Cleaning the bathroom, slipped backwards and the small of my back seems to have gone directly over the tub (and my head thunked the tile on the wall pretty damn good too). Hospital stays are boring AF, if an...

Re: Excel Hell

It exports directly to an Excel spreadsheet; I select "Specialized Export to Excel", select the fields I need, and it spits it out in an Excel document. That's all done within the software and according to their vendor there's not a way to change that at this time but it's "under cons...

Excel Hell

I've got a task in Excel I'm trying to figure out how to do. We use a specialized software to track client interactions; it has very limited baked in reporting abilities, but mostly to get real reports you have to export CVS data and dump it into Excel. The problem I'm having is two fold; the way it...

I've never been to Bisbee; that's from a national grasslands right off the NM SH39, deep in Hardin County NM. It's 2100 square miles with a county wide population of 600 people :D You take US HWY 87 & 54 where they join in Dalhart, TX, until 54 hits I40 around Tucumcari, and 87 hits Raton, and y...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

honestly I've never bothered with firearms; I'll stick with bear spray. Take a snare drum, put some sand in it for weight/speed, and roll it down a good hill towards you and try to hit it with a revolver. Have fun with that. Bears can go 20+ mph in a charge, and they're not going to be presenting br...

Even if that was taken within an hour...I'm pretty sure I've done worse (like washing down a caffeine pill or two with a 2 liter of diet coke, or eating a handful of plain espresso beans with mountain dew). There's *got* to be something else going on right?

just dropping an 8 year old off and vanishing will do that.

Seriously. Someone left a kid at our office. 8ish, no clue where parents where, was there when we opened.

They weren't back yet when we closed. The police and CPS had people there by then.

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

We're trying to put off replacing our computer chair and couch until the kids are both a bit older (at least until the younger one's fully toilet trained). Furniture shopping sucks, furniture's expensive, and kids are messy. But damn I want a new chair
