Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

I'm very drunk, nursing a torn deltoid and hamstring, and missing the old TR. Oh well. things change or die. Hope y'all doing well. Taught my oldest how to bleed an animal out this month. Taught the younger how to read. I drive forklifts and order pickers these days. They go beep, I get **** moved.....

Re: Something's different...

The site redesign is pretty rough, but I'm a lot more concerned about the apparent lack of communication. FireGryphon is right; that bodes very poorly for how the site will be run moving forward. I'm bummed, but not surprised; as Ned has noted, if you paid attention it was clear the site was financi...

I'm that weird mix of nervous and excited that's hard to manage. Please be good please be good! I'm going to be so sad, and my cynical self will feel justified if this sucks...but man I'll be sad :(

Re: Fish hobbyist thread (aquariums and tanks - not the sport)

My brother's got his 300 gallon up and running while I'm still rocking the little 29 gallon I've had for years. I'm jealous AF.

He's got a geophagus, cordy cats, and denison's barbs. Bit weird but it'll probably work, if for no other reason than the tank is huge

Re: World Of Warcraft

Hell, I might. I played enough vanilla to not have super rose tinted glasses (the horrible RNG, the fact that a lot of specs were worthless) but damnit I'm allowed some nostalgia, and I remember the world of vanilla fondly.

between the cost of a gunsmith and the cost of a barrel I don't think that's in the cards.

It isn't as simple as swapping barrels on a T/C or something

I don't think I've owned 52 pairs of jeans in my adult life :o

After 2 moves in a year, I'm significantly decluttered and happier about it.

Re: Gun prOn!

Finally got the 30-30 checked over and wound up putting a box downrange with it. Accuracy is....pretty bad tbh. I don't think I can ethically use it to hunt. It's not just POI, but the groups are really bad. Like, can't cover them with my palm at 25 yards bad (but I don't think there's any keyholing...

Re: DYMT: Imi's Legacy

If DFW is rural like you can keep NYC, Chicago, LA, etc. YUCK. I used to be able to drive 20 minutes and be on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere where there wasn't a house in sight and I might see a car every 10 minutes. I honestly thought I'd like the city more, but it's an hour drive in heavy t...

The original Houston football team did move; they're now the Titans. Bastards kept the rights and history to the Oilers name.

yep. hurricanes will spawn tornadoes.

For the first time in a decade I'm not following the hurricane season since I'm not on the coast, nor am I in a field that even touches on responding to disasters anymore :) I feel slightly ashamed at how relieved that makes me

Re: NFL 2018

As a fan of the Texans since their inception, I am really hating football right now.

At least last year the entire team died, so there was no expectation of success but this just godawful and painful. Is this what it's like to be a Browns fan?

I see something, I have the money, so why not? You sound like my brother, except he's trying to convince his wife they need a Bobcat (the equipment, not the feline).  I told him I want a ride in the bucket if he gets one. I impulse bought a blue tooth speaker and a tablet. Eh.
