The Humble Bundles are groups (bundles) of independent games that have been gathered together and sold for however much you wish to pay for them. You even get to choose how you want the money dispersed. You choose between the game developers, Child's Play, The Electronic Frontier Foundation, and a &...
I just finished reading the "Paul Sinclair" and "Stark's War" series by John G. Hemry and I'm currently about 3/4 of the way through book 2, "School of Fire", of David Sherman and Dan Cragg's "StarFist" series. All are great reads if you're a fan of military s...
Come on, Hance. That's really a matter of personal preference. I personally adore the "dual shock" ps/2/3 type controller myself. It just fits my hands and my play style perfectly. I just love the location and the amount of buttons on those things. Perfection in plastic.
You'd have to replace each and every individual LED to change the keyboard color and they aren't very user friendly, from what I've read on a couple modding sites. You could always just opt for the MS Reclusa instead.
CoD:4 without a doubt or moment's hesitation. It was a little on the short side, and I didn't care for the vehicle missions, but it was so completely immersive! The only other game I think that comes close to it would be MoH:A, but it's not on this poll, and the last level kind of ruined it for me. ...
I work for a land surveying firm. We use alot of different Autodesk software. Land Desktop, Survey, Civil3D, ect, ect. I am the tech dept. I build all of our new comps, and service the old ones. For four of the last five builds, I've used x1950 pro 512's. The fifth one I used an x 1950xt 512. Great ...
Hey, guys, it's been a while since I've posted. Just thought I'd put a little info in here. A few months ago, my trusty 6600gt said goodbye to this cruel world. I had been waiting for the next gen nvidia parts to come out before upgrading, anyhow. Seeing as I use my home computer for work....alot......
"*Most people that buy AMD are usually teenagers or people with a chip on their shoulders. The same chip that makes them hate Microsoft, Intel and the same type that are now promoting Firefox browser. "
oh hell, i had no idea i was still a teen! why arent i out partying right now?
well, i've owned the dfi nf4 ultra-d since feb. works great. rock solid stable, no matter what i do to it. i read a reaview, i think at [H] about some stability issues when under 100% load for extended periods. i've not seen that at all. i've done tons of encoding and stress testing, and it has nev...

Im not going to oc it, so that means i get winchester? The oem winchester is 10 bux less than the oem venice amd 64 3500. no, that's not what it means. if you are worried about bios issues with the venice, get the winnie. if you can deal with (maybe) a couple bugs till a bios update comes around, g...
They need to strike some deals with big OEM companies. Thats gotta be where intel get most of their money, (dell, hp, sony etc), PLUS then those companies advertising for them aswell (i see dell ads on tv nearly every day, with that annoying intel chime) they just dont have the fab capacity for som...
they dont have the fab capacity that intel does. so there's no need to try to sell what they cant produce. they also dont have to money to spend educating the masses on why their 2.4ghz proc beats the crap out of intel's 3.8ghz. most people cant see past clock speed.
Still having trouble with any FSB over 200 being unstable myself, the chipset fan is dying fast, and I'll try again when I put the Zalman chipset cooler on, probably tonight. Running 2-2-2-11-1T at 200MHZ and 2.65V, though. Perfect timings. i need to run some comparisons and see if i like the tight...
my gskill does 267htt with 2.5-4-4-7 timings @2.5v it does 200mhz with 2-2-2-5 timings too though. great stuff. i havent tried to tighten the timings up at the top end yet (top end of my proc, not the ram) by upping v, but i'm happy with it as is.
Would I be correct in saying that if you plan on doing any overclocking your RAM choice may need to be changed? yes, and/or no. bandwidth doesnt have nearly the same impact on amd performance as it does on intel. amd procs prefer tighter timmings, instead of lots of bandwidth. even running on a div...
