Pruno kills. Google that. Pruno that is. Thanks for the tip, Pete. Upon further research it appears Methanol is the biggest concern that I can find with Pruno (makes you sick and/or blind). But from what I am reading Methanol is really only created in toxic levels if you have alot of pectin or wood...

I rinsed everything out pretty well before making this little mix. But I wouldn't say everything was as sanitary as I would have made it had I known I might end up drinking the stuff. :o And Leor, I don't even know if I'd call it a sophisticated form of prison hooch, bascially IT IS prison hooch, j...

edit: wouldn't fish produce CO2?

Fish do produce CO2, but they don't typically produce levels great enough to induce vigerous plant growth.

Some people purchase some pretty expensive equipment to properly inject CO2 into water for planted tanks. Mine is just a very simple solution.

can we get a picture of it? that would help us decide, i think. If I can't get my wife to take a picture, I'll post one when I get home. Basically it doesn't really look too bad. Maybe all the red food coloring has something to do with that but I don't see any funk growing that really tells me "IT ...

Should I Drink It? JBI?

Haha. This is funny (to me at least). I have several fish tanks and a couple are planted tanks. I heard of a cheap way to generate CO2 (which makes the plants grow much faster). Basically I took a 3 Liter pop bottle, filled it halfway with 3 packages of Cherry Red Jello, water, and about 3 cups of s...

This is something that's really hard to tell you over the internet. There are a lot of little tips and pointers that you pick up as you learn more about putting PCs together. Probably the best advice I can give you is to find someone that has put a few systems together and tell that person you'll bu...

I'm going to have to go with the Canon S3IS FTW! My wife and I own the S1IS and this camera makes it way to easy to take good photos. The S2IS was only a minor improvement, but the S3IS has corrected the only nagging problem we have with the camera which is using the autofocus feature in low-light c...

'Operation: Mindcrime' is without a doubt my top favorite album of the last 15 years. Agreed. There's nothing wrong with the the 'Rÿche....

I tried green tea... PPPP"""""""""""" It is really nasty, and I love tea. :) Green tea has to be brewed for just the perfect amount of time and at the right temperature, otherwise it gets very bitter. Usually they recommend you not let it brew for more than two minutes. Aside from that, if it's bre...
