Re: Dumb idea/thought experiment

I wonder if AMD might include 16GB HBM2 in a possible Zen2 or Zen3 based APU, and completely eliminate the need for RAM on the motherboard? I actually think this is a good possibility. Though I wouldn't eliminate RAM entirely from the picture; maybe some models would eliminate it but don't remove i...

Re: Anyone repair anything today?

Thanks guys, appreciate the information! Replacement carb for the mower I referenced was $112. If there was a generic that would fit it I never found one that said so, and for that price it was either fix it or buy a new mower. Thank god the one I eventually replaced it with has a good Honda OHC en...

Re: Anyone repair anything today?

Is like anything else, stores sell lots of worthless mowers and few decent ones, but they do sell some. To be fair being forced to use ethanol-tainted gas certainly doesn't help the carburetors either, and that's usually what is guaranteed to be the first thing to have problems. Cleaning those thin...

Re: Anyone repair anything today?

Been learning AC repair. (yay!) Bought an old house a year ago. Not a huge house but it has 2 HVAC units, one for each side. One looks like its 10 years old, located in the garage, and running fine. One looks like it was born with disco shoes, located in the basement, and has been running okay but I...

Gigabyte has a beta for my B350 Gaming 3: http://www.gigabyte.us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-10#support-dl I'm going to wait for the final version, though. Sometimes the K models have the highest frequency, so one could purchase them simply for that without OCing.

Unfortunately I don't know of any good free software to do this, but I broke down and bought Sony Movie Studio for around $50 and I'm very happy with my purchase. I bought a Casper. I'm very much a side sleeper and it's just on the cusp of being too firm. I like it most of the time but every here and there I wish I had something softer. It's soft enough to squish when you push on it but you completely THUD if you take a flying leap onto it.
