I finally bumped the de-lidded i7-4770K I bought off a friend cheap up to 4.4ghz the other night.  I know how you feel! Tops out at 71 degrees on the hottest core reading with Prime95 with the biggest heat generating run. BF1 for a few hours never goes above 63 with my smaller Noctua air cooling.  B...

Yeah, like others have said, if you can wait until Ryzen benchmarks/pricing info comes out that would be best.

Several of your workflows look heavily threaded so being able to get a solid 8 core / 16 thread chip for far less than $1000 would be ideal.

Yeah, Raven Ridge is the Zen based APU due after Summit Ridge (they're launching pure CPU first)

I have to say, playing this on Vulkan with blistering frame rates on Ultra was a fantastic experience. The difficulty of Hurt Me Plenty was mostly pretty easy except for about 3 rooms that kicked my butt.
