Re: AntiVirus suggestions

Well....old time problem, but there are always new solutions. Among the best, you may have Bitdefender and Microsoft Security, but Norton and Avira are competitive too. Best to read a comparison or review of different anti-malware before committing. I just searched randomly and found this one for e...

Re: Serious bug in macOS High Sierra

Hmm....how irritating. I just updated to High Sierra because it kept announcing me about the update. I did to stop it, and High Sierra does slow my Macbook air early 2015.

You can try Bacula, an open source and easy to use. It's for PC, Linux and Mac too!

I would suggest WD, but yes no storage is regarded as strongest, they can all break. And don't move them around :)

Re: Need a new office chair.

No matter which chair you buy, just make sure it supports the back by having a curve accordingly to human back. I'm getting backache and my neck hurts because of my office chair. The ladies in my office has the same problem, they keep asking when if ever we would have chairs that are separate for wo...

Re: Apple working on ARM chips for Macs

I heard the news. Apple is trying to reduce relying on their supplier for components. I thought they can do this long ago already, they're such a big company with talented employees and IT experts.

It's not your car, it's Siri and Apple's effort to change/innovate in funny way :D I got this problem too, but I didn't really notice it until reading your post.

Re: Best wireless printer

If I know your budget it might help a lot. Anyway, I suggest Brother HL2340DW or HP Officejet Pro 6960 (this is the one I'm using), roughly $80. They're quick and easy and even have a touchscreen!

Re: AntiVirus suggestions

I don't use AntiVirus program actually, I found most of them don't help much when it come to real virus issues. But if you'd like to try, either of Avira, Microsoft, Norton Symantec or Bitdefender can be a good choice.

Re: Online Journalism - Where's the editor?

They may just use Google translate :D online newspaper or website should have an editor to check everything before publishing. I guess they're same as an amateur journalist.

Re: Fitness tracker or smart watch

Something under $300 then it might be a Fitbit smart watch. The Fitbit Blaze is about $180 and you have the rest of money for something else. Or Samsung Gear S3 can also be a very good choice, the classic one costs about $320.

Re: Looking for a laptop, need some help

I think ASUS N552 could be a great replacement, has 16Gb RAM and strong capacity. Price is a bit higher than $1000 though.
Or you can look at some Asus Zen Book, perfect for work.
