1/8th cup fresh grounds for every 2 cups of water. Add 2 teaspoons of cream and grab the weekly Best Buy / Futurshop flyer.

Re: Cameron does it again....Avatar rocks.

Well I hardly think I'm 'Blasting' anyone. The fact remains that this was intended to be seen in a particular way hens why it is ONLY being shown in 3D. So reserving judgment until one has seen it on TV is like criticizing a Ferrari after having only driven it in rush hour traffic. 1) hence 2) It's...

Re: Cameron does it again....Avatar rocks.

heck I doubt ill see it until its on tv for free. Then your missing the point. By the sounds of it this is less of a movie and more of an experience. Unless you see it in full Imax 3D, as intended, then don't bother. It's like going to a concert vs watching a recording of a concert, same content bu...

Re: Cameron does it again....Avatar rocks.

It’s the old adage: just because you can do something doesn’t necessarily follow that you should. Instead of using CGI as an effect to further the story/impact of the movie, many film makers use it as a way to say “HEY, LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO WITH CGI!” I don’t care for that. It detracts from the movi...

E55xx benchmarks are kinda hard to come by, would be nice if TR did an article on more than just the overpriced W5580. I would be more concerned with the colour reproduction, backlight bleed and colour shift from the panel than the hardware. If your not looking at accurate colors don't even bother.

Re: Asus Z8NA-D6

@Thresher Xeon's are definitely slower than the core i7's according to SPECfp2006, and that is comparing one core i7 processer vs 2 E5520s. Put in 2 core i7s on the Z8NA-D6 and you have ~60 specmarks, 2x more than 2 E5520s. The E5520 was good in its day, but now ... You have been drinking me thinks...

Ya, I would have waited till W7 was out to build the system (to avoid the clean install) but I have two large jobs to do between now and then. The old adage 'time is money' is very true in this case, waiting 10min vs 3min for a thumb nail render adds up over the course of a project.

I second the 151's, they're comfortable enough as far as Supra-aural goes and the mic is clear. If your looking for a nice set of open Circumaural for music, the Sennheiser HD555 are extremely comfortable. Being an open design you wont find them noticibly hot. Now I just picked up some new hotness, ...
