CCNA 2.0 -- 640-607 vs 640-507

Cisco has upgraded its CCNA exam to 607, while I'm stuck with a 507 textbook. I have had little experience with networking before. Is it a good idea to buy a new 607 textbook to prepare for the cert exam, or should I study off the older 507 book? The text that I'm using right now is called "CISCO CC...

gameport to USB adapter

I upgraded to Windows XP, and I discovered that my old Logitech Wingman joystick does not work via gameport connection. I've seen gameport-to-USB adapters included with Logitech's new joysticks, but I cannot find any individual adapter for sale anywhere. Does anyone know where I can buy a gameport-t...

I bought a Linksys HPRO200 Phoneline network router. When I tried to run online games (eg. Starcraft on Battle Net) its firewall blocks me out. Between Viewsonic PF790 and Samsung SyncMaster 900NF, which is the better monitor? Both monitors cost around the same at $330.

I was shopping around for a solid 19 inch CRT monitor, and I found three monitors whose prices are within my budget: Viewsonic A90f, Viewsonic G90f, and Samsung 955DF. I will mainly use the new monitor for gaming and moderate graphic designs. 1) The A90f and G90f have roughly the same price tags. Wh...

I found a Viewsonic P790 monitor for a great deal ($200), but I suspect that it may have been refurbished, despite the salesperson's claim that it's new.
Is there any way that I can distinguish between a brand-new monitor and a refurbished one? Thanks!

Does anyone know if the Windows XP drivers (6.13.3276) for Radeon 8500 are as much improved as the new v7206 drivers for Windows 98 over the old v7191? Thanks.
